Yay, a new one! Thx Chilly... I'm snuggling under loads of blankets on this more than "Chilly" night, and settling in to hear an episode that I believe is new to me. The commercials for "Dukes of Hazzard" and "Dallas" cracked me up 😂...sooo retro!

oh this is the one with the news and commercial, that is really groovy my friend. @ chilly sunshine. haha I had to laugh when the broadcaster said GASOLINE . instead of Gas or fuel , like we say now. love it

Old Man In The Room 1962 Detroit Speaking of *GASOLINE*, if alternative fuels do get really popular here in the US, it wouldn't surprise me if 'ethyl' became a slang term for ethanol fuel.

Love hearing the ads and the news with these great stories! It's the full experience of teenaged me in bed on a Sunday night and listening to the stories as they were broadcast, or in my case, rebroadcast in the 80s. Thanks!
