CBR600F Sport Chinese Fairings & Service
Decided id try some Chinese fairings as the price isn't to be ignored as the whole set was cheaper than a Honda nose cone. they also came painted to what ever colour and patter i wanted. Also did a full service on the bike and repaired some issues

Well done with all that work. I have not heard many good reports about aftermarket fairings and will try to keep an open mind. My 1994 CBR could benefit from a facelift. Thanks for sharing.

No worries John. I've also fitted a set on my 07 fireblade and fitted perfectly. I will definatly be buying more in the future if I need any and recommend people try them. For the price you can't go wrong
Just the job! Do you reckon the tail section was a ballache cos its designed for the banana seat model rather than the split seat sport model? As i know their subframes are different, Also did you have to pay import duty on these? If so how much? Cheers!

Yeh it possibly was but don't know without trying this onto a normal sub frame. I think it would have fitted easier though

@@mr_mon-eye Also the bike wont start without that plug for the headlight as the tip over sensor is part of the same harness and is located above the headlights, it's easy to bypass if you ever need to

@@nathr2012 if I remember right it has 3 wires and its the outside 2 wires, red and green. Just connect them together and it bypasses the switch. I would have to take mine to bits to check but I still have my headlight fitted so wasn't a problem for me. Took me a while to click on it was the sensor lol
Am sure the tail light isn't legal right don't the indicators have to be 9 inch or something like that apart ??

For MOT purposes the indicators have to be 240mm i belive apart from each other. I just dis connect them for test so the rear light is just a brake light as indictators are not a legal requirement

@@mr_mon-eye They are if you want to take the bike on the road mate. Don't want you getting in trouble now. Says on the .gov website that you do need indicators, unless it's just a track toy or off-road only. www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspection-manual-for-motorcycles/4-lamps-reflectors-and-electrical-equipment

@@thomaswarren2699 no the only legal requirment for vehicle is brake lights. If the lights are fitted they must work but they legally don't have to be fitted. I have ridden track bike on the road for years with only a rear brake light. Its never stopped the insurance, MOT or bothered the police when they have stopped me

Its the standard pipes with an aftermarket 60mm straight through end can. Was an ebay chineese special
