Having said that, I heard they're hiking up the prices for this year so best get the latest information from the showroom. Here's a link to find one closest to you www.hondabigwing.in/network/super-bikes-dealer-locator I got mine from VFM, indiranagar. It would make sense to simply pick the one closest to your place.

    As looks and feels of both are quite different and a subjective preference, I'd always recommend test riding them multiple times before you decide. I expect Honda to be more reliable and I won't need things to be repaired all the time. Having said that, if you don't have any service centres even an hour away from you, it's probably something to consider.

    I'm using a one inch handlebar raiser but not an inclined one. Makes the poster even more upright but the difference is very slight. I've not had to manage the cables since they haven't gotten in the way of anything yet.

    Himalayan for longer ride comfort, CB for city use and reliability. For me it came down to the cruiser like low seat position of the Himalayan vs. upright on top of the bike sportier feel from the CB

    @@secondopinion89Thank you . Please clarify my doubts. I have seen so many reviews and they all say we have to constantly shift gears in Cb350.Is it a big burden?And does the bike stall in 2nd gear while going through bumpers?Which all gears will u be mostly in city?

  • @secondopinion89

    @secondopinion89

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@BruceLee-go2vy It's tall gearing so you'll mostly use 2-4th gear. In light - med traffic, 3-4th gears. In this class, this bike has one of the lightest clutch action (comes with slipper clutch) so I've not found it a hassle to switch gears. Ive not had any issues with 2nd gear over bumps/potholes. Its not a deal breaker at all and now I don't even notice the gearing as I've gotten so used to it.

  • @secondopinion89

    It depends from person to person. For me, it did take some getting used to especially riding in slow speeds. The first gear should be used in play till 30km apparently... But once you hit the third gear... Its enjoyable and the bike performs well. Since the gear shifts are smooth, i don't mind the downshifts.

    As you are having long rides..why didn't you prefer meteor? Also would like to know your opinion about meteor comparing with highness or rs

  • @secondopinion89

    @secondopinion89

    2 жыл бұрын

    Ive tested the meteor and although it looks great, I didn't find the engine smooth (could be a bad test bike) . Also, I'm not used to the low seat cruiser like posture so handling felt awkward. I prefer being on top of the bike for greater control than sitting behind it. I wasn't a huge fan of the unrefined sound either compared to Honda and CB's weight distribution felt much better.. But the major drawback was how narrow the pillion seat was (width) and my wife preferred the comfort of the RS/Hness (based on the short showroom test rides). So that of course sealed the deal :)

    So the ECU update is being rolled out for all CB, regardless of which service you're currently in. This seat cover is specifically for the RS and I bought it from the Honda service centre in banglore. Give it some more time and your center should have stock.

    It can differ from person to person but I found the seat comfort better in Hness. The split seat is similar to RE and should give better comfort in longer rides. The new RS seat cover has helped a little. But I'd definitely not buy an RS if long rides is what you're looking for. But for city commute, it does the job.
