Did you ever figure it out
Thanks for the video. I hate that this system exists in my car. Seems like it could function without it.
With the video and how you explained things and just subscribed as this happened to wife car yesterday coming home from work

@1:40 is the lower hose the one that goes back to the intake manifold? Is that a good place to do a seafoam spray treatment (vs taking off the entire air filter box to get to the throttle body)?
Just had this with a 2015 rav 4
Hi, I have a bunch of code on my toyota corolla 2016, hope you can help me with that : p0456 p043e p043f p2401 p2402 p2419

Is that normal? I just bought gas cap
I had a cracked hose that I fixed. How long does it take for the light to go out, or should I start looking at the other components?

A scan tool can clear the light, but to fully clear the code for 2009 and newer Toyotas, a drive cycle is needed, which varies. Look up your Toyota model and drive cycle to know the exact drive cycle.

How did you figure out it was a cracked hose? Did your light go off since then?
I had mine smoke tested and it’s coming from the fuel filler even with a new gas cap. Anyone had this happen before?

Makes sense. I bought car from mechanic. Had this code and he said change out cap and you should be good. Still have code but I used dura last. He said use OEM parts so that's probably your problem as well as mine. I had a speed sensor to transmission go bad but I didn't replace with OEM so had to change it again
