HAVE | GET | MAKE | LET - Learn when to use causative verbs.
1) What are causative verbs? Causative verbs CAUSE something to happen.
2) Why are causative verbs important? They help us communicate something very specific.
3) Is causative grammar common? Yes, very. Native speakers use the causative almost every day.
Hi everyone!
My video today is all about the causative. I've gotten a lot of requests for this lesson, so here it is!
As always I had so much fun making this for you. I hope you enjoy it and learn something new.
Remember! There is a BIG difference between the causative and the 'past perfect'. Check out my past perfect video here: • PAST PERFECT | HAD GON...

Everything perfect! I don't think any other teacher could have presented this difficult subject better! The only thing I would have done differently would be using grammatical terms such as past participle, infinitive, infinitive with to, etc. because they are so commonly used in all textbooks. If someone tells me " verb 3", I don't understand what they mean unless they explain, but the grammatical term "past participle" is clear and widely used. But again your presentation was top notch.
