I've reached over 1000 deliveries on Doordash alone and I've never ever messed with anyone's food. All restaurant bags should be pre-sealed too. This makes the dashers look bad but whatever this is messed up and they messed with the wrong people. I've happily served government officials and I will continue doing my best on each dash that way this one dude doesn't make it look bad on the rest of us.

This is actually insane because not only this dude is putting doordashers at risk of stuff like he's also putting uber eats and all the other food delivery service at risk. We're having enough problems already when it comes to not getting tips but this is way too low for our standards as drivers and I don't appreciate that people would do something like this

Mmhmm...when we were younger (Saturday and Sunday were days off 🙃) ..for a treat so mum didn't have to cook..he'd take us spawn out...but he would never eat..just drink his beer and enjoy us all congregating...when we got older (our treat or celebrations) same thing ...I asked him..how come he never ate... cooked his food/ate leftovers from fridge when we got home...his response ... *I don't know who or what they're doing back there. from the cooks hands to the server to yours* as I thought about this...I asked him ...um...so it was ok we ate it? Lol...his response... *Was it a happy memory?* Of course I answer yes... He responds... *It's all about the memory, you'll get over it...can you make chicken for dinner* 😂😂😂 told him wonder what's in your beer...😜...joker he is...whatever it is...tastes good .... Sorry for long message...this just reminded me of it..

Quit being overly paranoid. People who over sensationalize things based on the pandering media really need to reconsider their perception. The chance of this happening is much less likelier than a fly landing on your meal. Aslong as you don't have any personal vendettas, nobody is going to mess with your food and risk getting fired/legal ramifications. Doordashers dont have the time to mess around, their job is underpaid and volume of deliveries is more important.

smh dudes like him mess it up for everybody. because as Im a who guy who delivers food I literally treat it with so much care. Got the cooler with ice in the car to keep drinks cold. and keep the food in a cooler bag (which contains heat well) on the heated seat to keep the temperature steady. I even turn off the app and use regular gps so I can speed.. just so people get their food fast and hot, and their drinks cold. Knowing they probably wont tip. Still they might. and I order alot so id hope someone treated my food as such. I HOPE THEY ARREST THE SHIT OUT OF DUDE, and when he's in prison... BALLS GET TEA BAGGED on HIS MEALS ----- DAILY 🤬🤬

A couple of my buddies that are cops tell me many officers bring their lunches from home, keep frozen dinners in the precinct breakroom fridge, or buy from a place where they can see the food being made. I don't blame them. Personally I hope they catch the low life and charge him with a felony. He deserves it. No one should ever mess with anyone's food for any reason.

Door Dash Driver : smoked heavily in her car , ate one of my ribs and put in back , and stole my drink. I cussed her out .. And then I deleted the app. Since they refuse to refund my money. BS

I like to order from restaurants that seal the order and make it tamper proof. Maybe these apps should use a badge for those restaurants that use tamper proof packaging.

I’m a driver for doordash and I would never dream of doing something like that! Most orders should have some type of seal on the package of food, so customers can tell if the food was tampered with.

I just read that the assailant is in custody per the New York Post. I also just read the unedited note sir dummy put into the officers food which wasn’t clear on you tube. It happens. Though sickening...stock workers at my local Martin's grocery store did the same thing, years ago. Nobody would want to know how much gross stuff they end up eating and not even know it. Do you think teens, working at Mcdonald's don't do gross things to food? Not to mention coffee companies roasting and grinding cockroaches along with the coffee beans? They will find him and he will be charged because it happened to a fellow officer. If it happened to us they wouldn’t care🤷🏾‍♀️ glad it’s being taken cared of tho. No one should have to receive tampered food no matter what!

This is why a lot of cops go to places like subway where they can see the food being made

Thank god they got copies of the evidence before it was deleted.

These days I would not order food by delivery OR in-person if my situation or appearance could be interpreted as sociopolitical in ANY way, shape or form. Sadly, law enforcement and other first responders, even medical staff and military should follow suit.

It’s not about door dash or uber eats or any of those. It can be a chef in a restaurant or a fast food server in Taco Bell. Can happen anywhere. Never mess with people before u get ur food. On another note…sounds like it COULD be personal. Maybe the driver knew the guy. ??

I have done over 20k deliveries Id never do that to anybody but if you are mean and naughty I'll just never show up and have a free lunch and still get paid 😁

And by doing so it would seem that you would be asking to get deactivated which would really only hurt you, not the customer. If it were me and I took an order and if I felt that the customer is too demanding, I would simply unassigned myself from that delivery because then they would have to wait longer to get a replacement driver and their food would get cold.

You don’t know where I come from, what do I look like, what my pain is, and what my understanding of the world is. You would be incredibly surprised if you knew. All I know is that a wrong doesn’t fix another wrong. And that excuses are the first weapon of the ignorant and the weak of heart. Groups don’t make a world better. Individuals do. Try thinking for your self. You will make me better by that alone.

Food tampering is a felony.

The idea of them just dropping food by your door is disturbing in itself. Never have ,and never will use those services .😒😒

This is why I very rarely order delivery anymore. Even before times got really hard like they have been the past year, some delivery drivers might be petty because they thought they deserved more than $10 on a $20 delivery. Some people are just really entitled like that. Messing with people's food is just wrong on so many levels, but especially for delivery. How do they know the food they are ordering is for the person they think 'deserves it' and it not meant for someone like their kid who might have health issues?

And that is why I don't do doordash or any other food delivery service. I'm perfectly fine getting my own food because people are crazy and inconsiderate these days and there's no telling what they do to your food before bringing it to you. I don't trust anyone anymore!
