I watched a video last week where I guy 13 (I think, 12 or 13) DUI’s in 3 states. I think it was 4 in 2 states and on his 5th that arrest In current state. And he literally acted like he wasn’t in the wrong!! I think there should definitely be harsher DUI penalties especially for habitual offenders.

I dont understand what the hell he was thinking. I drove a wrecker for about 5 years in my early 20's and that is what made me never get behind the wheel after drinking. The death, destruction and needless tearing apart of lives and families I saw on a regular basis I can never erase from my mind. I understand you feel like you can get away with a little more because we knew and worked with local police. But we also saw first hand the death and devastation that drinking and driving can and DOES cause.. It was basically learning your lesson the easy way. See others mistakes and learn from them. Glad everyone else is okay, and I hope the driver is okay as well. But i pray if he gets his license back that he does it a changed man before he kills someone or even himself. God Bless my friends, and stay safe out there!!!

I had a neighbor who still had a license and had 5 dui one he lost part of his leg and yup he’s still able to drive makes no sense I drive 2-3 hours a day the amount of terrible drivers on the roads is insane

If it weren't for the large boulders and the steel cages around ourA/C units (placed the year before due to tweekers stealing all the copper pipe inside the units), he would have been in our office building. Police thought it was a fatality, but the dude just had cuts and bruises.

It's a well known fact that in most cases of drunk drivers surviving car wrecks is because when people are stoned drunk they are Too relaxed to tense up seconds before the crash where as the people who are sober , in those few seconds before impact our bodies instinctively tense up because they know of the potential to be hurt or killed. Then your muscles and other things tell your brain of impending Danger The Drunk person doesn't have the reaction time or awareness to tense up so they are usually relaxed upon impact. That's why we have So Many people who are charged with drunk driving because they survived a crash They caused and the other people lose their lives. I'm sorry it's not the best explanation but if you could possibly get to an A.A meeting and just set and listen then pose the question to them maybe they could explain it more clearly. It would probably help to ask someone Over the age of 30 -35 age range because by that time they have lived long enough to actually have read, watched or experienced these sad events. Good Luck. Logo on door says Towing Solutions and Recovery. Looked them up in Yelp and it’s got bad reviews for being towing bandits. There is even a picture of the driver in question posted in the review section…

Yeah, you're right, it's a repo or parking enforcement truck. The parking enforcement types are always criminals, falsifying papers and doing illegal tows out of condo and apt complexes etc, so it's no surprise the driver looks like a crook and was loaded. What do you want to bet, he was running from someone chasing him, when he tried to steal a car with the tow truck.... I'd bet that is what was going on.... 🤣

Cop said 11 cars were involved with three of them moving. I counted about 6 totaled vehicles. Imagine the insurance will drop him. $30 - $40k each of the 5 totaled = $240k. Add $80k for the wrecker. Then add $10k for each of the 5 left. $370k total, and that's probably too low.

In case anyone missed it the name of the towing company is TOWING COLLISIONS (had to pause the video to read it). It is a hell of a way to get business though, when you have to cause the wreck to get the work. I sure hope the company has REALLY good insurance...they will need it. I hope to hear more about this later but if like so many other in CA he did not likely have insurance

He was the first tow truck to the scene of the crash.

The reason for a drunk driver walking away from crashes. He is so stinking drunk and so relaxed that when the car was doing it's flips, rolls, and spinning on it's roof for him it's like a roller coaster . Because he was so relaxed and didn't have his muscles tense. That's how these drunks walk away with minor scraps or breaks. By relaxing the car takes the full brunt of the impact. The story behind this should open everybody's eyes.

That is a really really heavy vehicle to throw around like that, what was his speed?

Well speed and the fact that his vehicle has a high center of gravity was why it flipped so what I think happened was the grey Prius was hit on the left frontal area causing the tow truck to flip over and smash into the Kia K5 and other cars.

@@tylerdurden4006 All vehicles have a center of gravity the heavier a vehicle is the more easier it can flip especially that tow truck but its only in certain situations when it can flip and this one was one of those situations but I am not saying that a car with a low center of gravity can't flip either also that seems like a tow truck for passenger cars that weigh less than 5000 pounds maybe the tow truck itself probably weighs about 8500 to 10000 pounds now also speed plays a big factor in this resulting in this mess he was going probably 60 or even 70 when he hit the Prius.

Back in the 1970's I needed a tow in the wee small hours. The truck arrived and the driver was tanked. He had cans of Club Cocktails on the dashboard and even offered me one. I declined as I was 19 at the time. Luckily I got to the repair shop safely.

Saw a video a couple of days ago where this young couple got pulled over on their first date because the boy was going over 100mph and almost hit people and even the cop that pulled them over, and then the cop gives him tickets and tells him to show down... And then, literally just minutes after letting them go, the cop responds to a crash scene where a car driving over 120mph hit a tractor trailer, that was not survivable for the occupants in the car, and it turned out to be that same couple. Literally just minutes after getting tickets for speeding and reckless driving, and being told what happened to people that speed, that it's not worth dying and killing others, and to slow down, the boy does it again anyway and gets himself and his date killed!!! WHY!!!???
