You have to make it a joyful experience for them. Otherwise they can find it very stressful. But Chris amd his girlfriend (I think she's his girlfriend) did a very good job at making sure they don't feel uncomfortable during amy part of the moving. You can see what they did at another video that's posted on thos chanel called, hold on, let me check.

"Moving With Cats! Vlog #2" It's from they last time they moved, but it shows how good care they took of Cole and Marm and how easy they made it for them. Of course every cat is different and every cat reacts differently to moving.

Cole seems like more of a fancy kitty, while Marm is more of an adorable klutz.

I agree ive never dressed my cats because i like them the way they are and i KNOW they wouldn't like it at all i bought my girl cat a really nice pink leather collar with a bell when she was little and she instantly took to it with her feet paws whatever trying to pull it off so it ended up in drawer never used its obvious cole n marmalade are very loved indeed and taken the best care of

I love Cole and Marmalade, they always make me laugh. My sweet kitty was lost away from home and I miss him terribly. Still looking and hoping to find him, but it is a comfort to see well cared for happy cats. :)

I'll be moving this year & just bookmarked their site!! I don't have a whole lot after losing everything in a fire a few years ago, but what me and my Leela DO have, is coming with us!! (My kids were trying to talk me into leaving & donating everything-can't do that!! At my age, I've already lost enough AND I certainly refuse to give up all of Leela's special "furniture". I'm finally getting a smart phone this week and plan on taking a bunch of videos-once I figure it out 😂 Everyone will get to see what WE do with boxes...it's getting to the point I can barely walk in our hallway-Leela drags, even the big ones, around the house until she's happy with its placement. 😹 She pitches a FIT when I try and take them out-but after the Holidays, it looks as if we're already moving I have so many boxes laying around!! You can certainly tell who wears the paws in THIS family!! 😊😽 Whispers & Kisses from my feline Mistress to yours!! She LOVES watching your videos!! 😊

Make loads of scratching post accessories with the cardboard! Make rolled-up tubes then cover with sisal, make cardboard ripple tents, make huge play castles, or just recycle on freecycle or something like that -- someone else who is moving will definitely appreciate them!

i'm starting to have a hard time finding videos of yours that i haven't seen. i go on cole & mamalade binges.and as many as i can stand at one sitting till i move on to other things.......your little guys always make my day!

Having boxes be all one size is super handy for moving, but they are expensive to buy! I'm with typo, someone will be thrilled to buy these. Rooting around at stores is a lot harder now as many stores use reusable plastic bins to ship.

usually, if you go behind plaza stores, you will find big boxes (flattened that you can pop up again) from shipments

Looks as if they're having a great time! You can make plenty of hiding spots for the kitties with all of the boxes.

Nothing better than starting my day with a Cole and Marmalade... Those two are hysterical! And of course your editing is spot on brilliant! Thank you again Chris for everything you do!!!!!

Now that you're in a house in a quiet area, you can let them outside; but you must follow some rules. 1) Keep them inside for 3 weeks prior to outside so they become thoroughly familiar w/the house. 2) Never let them out at night or when no one is home. 3) Use canned food as a reward for coming in at night. 4) Collars are cruel; use harnesses. These are based on my cat parenting skills since 1969.

Our aged family cat recently passed away. This reminded me how much I've missed having kitties around, he was such a constant presence and even a few months later my mum still calls him when she lights the fireplace. +Cole and Marmalade my cat had around 6 litters of kittens and then her kittens had kittens and they had kittens ect, and I thought my parents were taking them to the humane society for years but they just got them all put down because the older litters got feral because they lived outside and now two of my cats just had babies and they're all getting sick and dying. :( some weeks they go without food, so I just feed them my leftovers when I can. I feel like a horrible cat mom. do you know of any place where I can take the babies for free and where they won't get put down?

puuuuhleeeeeaaaaz get them spayed and neutered!! HSUS even does it for free i think there are some programs out there! and or call a animal rescue as you do not seem fit to have animals if you do not feed them....there are pet food banks for free food as well!!

I just read an article about a study that was done providing cardboard boxes for cats in shelters. The cats who got the cardboard boxes were less stressed out because they had boxes to sort of hide in. Then there's always recycling. Love Cole & Marmalade!
