They take longer but most of the D prospects they've gone after for a decade have been offensive type D guys, which doesn't win you cups

Everything begins and ends with Kyle Dubas…. A person who played hockey but was knocked out of the game at 15 by concussions. Clearly that left a mark. SKILL NOT GRIT has been the Dubas calling card that ran the Leafs…. It was the Leafs version of MONEYBALL…. IF WE REMEMBER MONEYBALL never won the Oakland A s a championship…. You need size at the back end period, no discussion necessary. Jesus you do know how to build a club, right? And that was a penalty on Bennet, Bourne. The goaltender has a paddle for a reason and he couldn't get the paddle over because of the cross check. Peace ✌️ 😎.

I think Rob Brown's comments here may have jinxed the Oilers...he says Canucks can't beat the Oilers if they take penalties, and then the Canucks shut down the Oilers PP 0-5 in that night's game. Then he mentions how Bouchard has played great offensively AND defensively and that he can't rmbr the last time Bouchard made a big mistake defensively, and then Bouchard made an egregious giveaway mistake in front of the net that lead to a Canucks goal. Uhm...stop jinxing your team Rob! 😁
