It is amazing in both cats how the portraits go from a "picture of a cat" to "It's a cat!". I think the change from "picture" to "real" occurs when you finish the eyes. It was a wonderful effect and demonstrates what a talented artist you really are. Are you familiar with Carly Renee, an Australian artist here on KZread? She works in charcoal and a year or two ago was making very large portraits of lions, tigers, jaguars, etc. Marvelous work, you might find it interesting.
