People consistently pickup cats wrong, touch them wrong, get too much into their personal space, make a lot of noise, and ignore ALL of the cats warnings…. They are shocked when they get swiped.

My neighbours cat was a mean spitfire, there was I happily weeding in my garden when he took a flying leap at me sunk his teeth into my hand drawing blood. Cats like any animal need to be trained. They can’t be trained like typical dogs, but you can show them who’s boss. Also, it’s fucking weird getting all touchy and feel your animals. Like I know it’s an American thing, but think about it you’re picking up an adult mammal and violating its personal space for your own personal pleasure. Imagine doing that with a grown ass human being. You know how weird that is? Pet it, compliment it and leave it tf alone.

But nobody tells you this. I recently got a cat, who is very affectionate but also has anxiety. She’ll be snuggling with me hear a sound or see a sudden movement and then go bananas. NO-ONE, not a single one of the cat guides I read mentioned a thing about how to not irritate a cat. I hate this mentality of “oh these people deserve it, of course a cat would do that.” When there is so little education and awareness out there on how to prevent this from happening. Like it’s just common sense, it’s not. A lot of people take it for granted that someone either educated them or they learned at a young age.

If you're invading cat's personal space, ignore warnings, touch them when they clearly don't want it, you're gonna get smacked. And it's your fault only, not cat's. Try to tease another animal, like a horse, and you'll learn quickly that every animal has their own boundaries and either you respect it or you get hurt.

I was thinking the same thing. Any one of those "swipes" could have taken out an eye. I'd rather have a dog attack me than a cat. As a teenager back in the sixties I had these two brothers I was friends with. They also had a sister who I briefly dated. Although she was hot I ignored her because I was friends with her brothers, but she kept coming on to me so I gave in briefly with her brothers blessings and they said no matter how it turned out we would still be friends. She wanted me to take her to her senior prom and I did. I think she just wanted to show me off to her girlfriends. Her whole family wasn't hard to look at and neither was I. Our "relationship" lasted a few months and then she moved on with my blessings. Well anyways they always had a cat around the house as well as her pussy. One time they had this one cat that I can tell didn't like me and kept staring at me and trying to decide whether or not it wanted to attack me. It would even position itself from places where it could leap at me and always looked like it was ready to jump on me. I told the guys that if they didn't get that cat out of the room, I was leaving. They thought it was funny and that I was kidding. I wasn't, and got up to leave. They stopped me and put the cat in one of their bedrooms and closed the door. Eventually they got rid of the cat because other guest also complained about it.

@@im1who84u No you wouldn't. Dog jaws are much stronger per square inch. Cats bite down until they can't anymore. Like a puncture. You have clean it immediately to avoid infection. Dogs bite and tear. I saw my cousin when I was 10 and she was 12 get bit in the face by a dog. 36 stitches, 6 surgeries and facial sandings.

As a grown man, I'll still take my chances with a dog. I understand them better than cats. Aggressively scream as loud as I can, shout common commands to them with a loud and adhortative voice telling them to sit, stop, go lay down..., make myself look big and lunge towards them, grab their two front legs and pull them down hard, grab their ears and pull them off if you have to, kick, bite, punch, screaming as loud as you can (in their ear if possible), crush them with your body weight, and I usually carry a pocket knife, pepper spray, and a firearm with me anyway. I am former law enforcement and it's just a habit. Here's a true story. As an older teenager back in the late sixties, my friends and I went to a junk yard to pick up some cheap car parts. In this junk yard was a chained up German Shepard that kept viciously barking at us as we tried to talk business with the guy running the place. If that dog wasn't chained, he was ready to put us on his dinner menu. Then my friend finally got tired of hearing this very vicious aggressive dog barking and pulling at his chain to try and get at us.... and he yells very loudly at the dog to go lie down. The dog stopped barking and looked at him kinda puzzled. Then my friend yells at the dog again and strongly points to him, walks a few steps in the dog's direction and tells him again to go lie down, you heard me, go lie down..... and the dog very sheepishly goes and lies down! The owner got a little embarrassed when this happened. The rest of us snickered.

@@im1who84u Thank you for sharing that. I was standing right next to her. It was my uncle's Visla. He just completely unprovoked jumped up and bit her in the face. Ripped her mouth open. It didn't make either of us fear dogs. But that dog should have been put down. He later bit my grandmother. My first cat I got as a really young kitten that was way to young to be taken from her mother and was aggressive, Maybe even played with too roughly. I got bit many times in 18 years.

She was the chillest cat I’ve ever known in 60 years. You show them love & respect they’ll do the same. Spoof on a cat and they’ll remember it for life and get you back.

Moms who gasp because their cat fought back right away.. tells me that baby or babies have manhandled them prior to this. Cats are smart and know when to be ready to defend.

Fun fact: Staring / glaring at cats give them a sign of hostility, thus if they feel threatened they’ll attack. Instead, look at them with softer eyes. Blink at least once or twice gently as these are signs of affection. They’ll return you with a blink if they trust and like you enough. 😸

Cats are unpredictable, and too moody. Dogs are so much friendlier.

I had a cat, he was a killer - killed every mouse, rabbit, bird on my property. Blinded a neighbor's bulldog who attacked him. Gus was a big cat. I raised him from the age of two weeks. When he was a kitten he took a swat at me. I backhanded him so hard he flew 20 feet across the living room. I never had to hit him again. All I had to do was raise my hand and he corrected his behavior immediately. I loved my cat, but I took zero shit from him. If he had ever swatted my kid - as some of the cats did in this video - he would be lucky to escape with his life. Never let a domestic animal dominate you.

1:16 Goddamn let the cat go already it already swiped it's clearly not happy with what you're doing.

Half of these cats were just being playful, no claws. The other half had stupid owners who didn't respect them.

Most of these slaps are just educational. When the parents fail to raise their kids, the cat has to step in. 😂

For the most part, these cats were in the right, I’d say, the people in the video were crossing the boundaries of those cats. My cat would never actually hit me like that. He does bite if I annoy him for long enough, but not that it actually hurts me, and even if I really piss him off, he never goes for the face. He’s been always super gentle.

These cat owners are not AWARE of the immediate DANGER by inappropriate interaction with these animals. All the cats swiftly attacked the person's face and eyes.

As a proud cat mom to 3 very well trained and well behaved cats I am genuinely concerned as to how these cats are so aggressive. They only get aggressive like that if your a jerk to them and don't respect their comfort or space. This is more a compilation of bad cat parents.

@@chickadee317 Ive got one of those too,he likes to playfully mess with you or pretend to incite trouble. But theres a difference though to a playful or pranky cat versus a cat that is genuinely pissed off and hissing, which an alarming amount of these cats are very upset.

I have 2 cats, one has been with me since kitten, and walks on a leash without issues whenever I take her for a walk. My other cat has been abused before I got him. He sometimes will bite or swipe at me for no reason. But I don't get mad, he just reacts to what he remembers. It took a while, but Now he sleeps on my bed, cuddles with me, and follows me everywhere. Occasionally he still bites but I just take my hand away and he looks at me as if he is sorry. He just has ptsd, but is my buddy nonetheless. He just needed a good home.

That's not necessarily true, I've had cats my whole life, all beautiful angels well-behaved but cats are known to have that kill button and you just never know when you're gonna hit it. but most of these slaps are paw only, with no claws involved.

Don't treat cats like "toys". They are sentient beings who have feelings

Yeah those babies were antagonizing them and deserved it. Especially that baby crawling away and got jumped on from behind. Baby shouldn't have antagonized the cat with it's threatening crawl. I would have smacked the baby too if i saw it. Damn jerk babies can't stop antagonizing people or cats.

I even remembered my 1st 2 cats were always forgave me. My 2nd cat was my cat for number of years. I even gave the cat belly rubs on my belly while watching TV with my parents. He did stayed over a hour in that position. He was a the most sweetest cat ever. He even had a gentle soul. I was so lucky to had a special friend.

This is actually humans being jerks. 100% deserved.

@@leechjim8023 nah not really. There’s no “luck” in owning a cat. If you respect the cat, and show that you’re trustworthy, then it’ll show love back. I live with siblings who love to just be all over our cats personal space, and the poor thing runs away from them. I make sure to give my cat space and love, and just looking at him causes him to run over to me for head pats. They need to feel safe with you to know they can let their guard down. Cats are very independent anyway.

People who don't put down cats when cats indicate they want to be put down shouldn't be allowed to have cats. These are the same people who abuse their parters and children.

Just came here to defend the cats, but I see my job has already been done by you guys, I'm really glad that most of you know how to respect a cats privacy, behavior and reaction when they're treated absolutely wrong by their so called owners

Whenever my cat shows discomfort or irrigation I just put him down and or allow him to pull away from me. It's how we developed so much love and trust for each other. He still doesn't like to be held for a long time but he knows he can get away safety whenever he needs/wants to

Same as mine but my cat loves attention. She likes to be held like a baby. When she wants attention she would rub her face against mine or picks my hand up with her head. It’s because I always showered her with love when she was a baby and I still do it 😊.

Yep some ppl scream in the cats ears knowing they hear better then dogs do....... much better... We humans can hear sounds between 20hz - 20000Hz Dogs hear sounds at 70Hz - 45000Hz Cats are the best in both and have a hearing range of 15Hz - 85000Hz These ranges are basically estimated to a 70dB sound (the loudness of a normal conversation of a group of people) In short people dont need to pitch their voice for the cat to notice you..... they already are able to hear you even when you dont know they do, nice experiment to try out (withoit harming your cat) is: try and sneak through your house without the cat directly sees you try and go sneak towards the bathroom while your cat s sleeping on the sofa...... there is a 100% chance its already waiting in front of the closed bathroom door before flushy the toilet.....

The cat wouldn't let me leave my room it jumped on my chest and wanted to bite me if my house mate hadnt been there and hadnt taken the cat away from me i would of killed it with a knife im telling you... all of that happened out of blue after a year living in that house. You cant trust people let alone animals yet you got people that let their pets to be around their children! With cats you never know... you may have it for a couple years and everything's alright and then one day it will rip your eyes out. I knew an old lady who had a cat for 5 years and then one day it almost rip her face off

Anyone that lets their children box and slap their cat deserves exactly what they get

I completely agree. Problem is usually the cat is punished and blamed for when they defend themselves against babies doing things like sitting on and grabbing them. A cat isnt gonna sit their and just enjoy getting stepped on. People need to control the situations more. Too busy taking videos.

If your cat doesn't like you or is scared of you I automatically dont trust you lol. I built a strong bond with all my cats because I respect their boundaries. If they dont want to be pet, I dont touch them. Now they seek me out multiple times a day for cuddles or to just sit with me. If your cat doesn't like you, you are most likely the problem (unless the cat has a traumatic past, but still, its your job to help it to feel safe) You took this living creature into your home, it is your responsibility to take care of it and make sure its happy

cats behaviour will reflex how they got treated. If they are jerks mean the owners are also

Some of these seemed unwarranted though. Sometimes the owners were treating them just fine or weren't doing anything and still got attacked. For example take that one girl playing with her little gray cat. Although that one seemed more like the cat accidentally jumped on her
