I adopted two little guys. Theyve been with me 5 yrs and counting. A blessing.

Dogwood is like “I AM NOT seeing the humor in this situation AT ALL.” lol. I’ve dealt w feral kittens many times. These guys are incredibly calm for as old as they are and having no human contact until now. I’m thrilled that they will not have to navigate the dangers of living outside and Momma will not be having anymore. She’ll have a better life as well. Thank you PAWS!!!

You would never think those kittens were siblings! I’ve never seen a litter before with such contrasting colours. The rescue itself went very smoothly after the initial tree climbing attempt, leaving me impressed as always at the ingenuity of the Hope for Paws team. I did feel sad for the mum having the kittens she had raised taken away, but i know it was for the best. A good result all round with the mum being spayed and set free.

I’m glad that mama Birch has a guardian angel to continue taking care of her and I hope her babies find forever homes soon.

What a great Mama Birch was. I've never seen anything quite like it. I'm sure she misses her beautiful lil babies but at least she'll never have to go thru that again.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I thought they'd be more "wild." It's probably because of the kind person who had been feeding them that made them not feel so afraid.

When they came out of the bath they had this little "I'll remember and you'll gonna pay for it" kind of look ;) But you're right. They stayed amazingly calm and seemed to have no issue at all to adapt to a life as house cat.

Oh my god, these are the most beautiful kittens I have seen in a long long time...look at these colors 😍. Thanks for helping them in a better life! I wish I could adopt them all.

good one. i've never seen a kitten nest in a tree. smart mama. very cool.

It always makes me so happy when you get the momma too :-) no more wear and tear on her poor body from constantly being pregnant and/or trying to feed and care for babies under such bleak and difficult circumstances. Not to mention all the additional kittens that would have been added to the already overwhelming number of homeless/unwanted cats if she, and her babies (and her babies' babies, and her babies' babies' babies - infinitum) had ALL been left to just continue reproducing more kittens _every couple of months_ !!! It's a hard, hard life being constantly pregnant/caring for kittens while having to endlessly search for food and a safe place to sleep (and often having to fight other feral cats for both). And all the while being hunted as prey by other animals, or in danger of being hit by cars or otherwise harmed by humans (poisoned, shot, etc, etc), in both freezing cold and blazing heat without ever having adequate water, food, or shelter. And often while dealing with any number and type of injuries and illnesses, as well as ticks and fleas that can literally drain them of their lifeblood. Most don't last long in their desperate struggle to survive, and their lives, as short and miserable as they are, often end horribly too. It is a joyous thing when even one of them finally gets a proper home :-) And, although not quite as joyous, it's still SO much better than nothing when even one of them is captured and spayed/neutered before being released again (with, in the best case scenario, someone to look out for them and provide food, etc). I salute you and your team for doing everything you can to try and save as many as possible from such a hard, desperate life.

Wow, Magnolia has such a perfect split of ginger and gray tabby stripes. I don't think I've ever seen that before! Great rescue!

She looks like a chimera cat, they are their own not identical twin… basically two or mor fertilized eggs merged, which means beside often awsome fur they can have double organs or even tails or ears, or for example can be hermaphroditis or for example male tortoiseshell cats since the color indicates an extra X chromosome….it can happen because of genetics, injury during the pregnancy or odd mutation…. And there are I think even some Social media accounts (I think I remember a cat called Venus, half ginger half black & another cat named narnia a half grey/russian blue and half black )

Tortoise shell, that is what that coloration is called, splits are common. Desired coloration for showing is the face is a different color at each corner like a chess board, light dark light dark

@@ceceosborn176 She's not a tortie. Torties don't have stripes. She's a tabby mix. Not sure about Chimera so I will defer to that, but she's definitely not a tortie.

@HopeforPaws I completely understand what you do and why you do it. I have watched so many of your videos and I know you keep the feral mom until the kittens are weaned. In Nature cats stop parenting after the babies are weaned and learn to fend for themselves. You will see sons challenge fathers to rule a pride. This isn’t a Disney movie to all the people who believe they know more than Eldad and his team. We saved 3 moms and her kittens. They finally taught them how to recieve food from humans... even scared 😉🥰

My thoughts are how every time a mama feral cat is caught and spayed a LOT of kitties get saved from a life of struggling for food, predators, fleas and ticks. Wonderful !! The kittens are very pretty and will be adopted by nice people who want a CAT...kittens become cats. Mama cat was also very pretty and I hope she has a happy long life in the care of her " angel" friend. Thanks to Hope for Paws

As always, thank you for saving lives. Not only that, but also for improving those saved lives. Contrary to what was said, you didn't steal the babies. Those were not babies anymore, those were young cats who will soon reproduce and create more sad lives on the street. People should stop thinking that life on the street = freedom. Usually life on the street = death. So you saved them and their mother thanks you as much as I do.

Cats are so smart. Chances are good momma cat got some bird dinners. Wow , that cage was super traumatic. Can you all put pads up to slow down the faces into the steel ? By the way, this sounds like a solid idea. Maybe covering the edges of the drop trap with rubber, like they do with chairlegs, so it is less noisy...

The flame point Siamese was gorgeous. We had 2 semi feral strays the same & after being fostered by a co worker were adopted by my boss. Now he reports they are not scared anymore, rather the opposite, totally loving lap cats. Thanks to all who give these sweet babies a chance at a good life.👍😻😻😻

I’m so shocked the kittens weren’t feral acting after capture! My friend I fostered 4 weeks old feral kittens and that took the power of the universe to socialize them to want to interact with humans hahaha

here in the netherlands, mama cats teach their kittens karate, nearly impossible to catch them then.

It's great that you caught these kittens before they became feral. I like Aspen.

The best thing is to adopt either all the kittens in a family that are siblings because then they will love each other or at least get 2 adopt them in pairs And let the mother cat keep at least one of her kittens with her so adopt her out with 1 of her kittens. Wish people would adopt like that.
