Nice I dig it! Kitties are very cute and Catio look very well built. I am building one now off a window about 6 by 10 and plan to add on more next spring.

Loved your catio but wished the video was a little longer! I'm preparing to build one myself and have been looking at the different ways people attach them to the house. Mine is going to have to have the opening come out of a window so have been researching that. Your cats are very lucky to have you!

Allowing your cats to have the best of both worlds and keeping them safe so they can enjoy those options is why catio's are such a blessing..... I have had cats for pets my whole life and I know all the dangers they face so catio's are the only solution for my fur baby's ❤️

A great idea, just wish the end part wasn't made of metal. When it gets too sunny out, it could get too hot and burn their little toes :c

+EdgarAllenDoesGore It's actually insulated on top, so they don't rub on the metal, and the bottom is plywood. :)

+Maria Berg We do have a lot of space, and I used to let my cats come and go as they pleased. I wish I could continue to do that. But, unfortunately, cats roam. Roam far. And, all three of them wandered over to the neighbors house and were killing birds from their bird feeders and getting into mischief. My neighbor knocked on my door late one night upset about my cats being a nuisance. It's perfectly legal to shoot an animal that is on your property. I live in Alaska, and since we aren't in city limits there is nothing I can do. So, the catio was built to allow them outdoor time but keep them safe. I love my cats and I'm trying to be a responsible pet owner. 😸

Upgrade Iself not only that, people commonly view cats outside by themselves as "unloved" or "free game" and will lure your cat to their homes with food and take them. They argue cats are free spirits and pick their owners and arent "owned" by anyone. The only way to get your cat back from them is if their chipped because then you can call the police and prove its your cat. Ontop of illnesses they can pick up being outside alone.

Depends on where you´re living I guess. We had 2 cats and they were both inside and outside whenever they wanted, they wandered around in the neighbourhood and even in the woods sometimes, but they came back everyday, not only for food but because the knew they live in this house and they loved us, they were part of the family. Maybe sometimes they got fed by others but they would never leave us. Cats are not rare or expensive, if anyone wanted their own cats they could easily get one for free.

Evelyn Acevedo my cat loves the outdoors but two wild cats keep beating her up, sometimes badly, so she's getting a runner and catio to keep her safe and happy
