I let my cats out in my garden quite often as long as I can stay to watch over them. I've trained them to stay in the yard pretty good.

Two cats or more in a catio is the best chemistry..... I have three and they go crazy playing and enjoying their outdoor experience togeather ❤️ I adopted two kittens for my fur baby and they go crazy togeather in the catio every day 🤣🤣

My last cat Wilson (2007-2016 R.I.P.) Got hit by a car at 2 years old and survived, then got eaten by a coyote at 9 years old. :-( I've been without a cat for the last 3 years. I am planning to build a safe habitat for our next cat, hopefully this summer we'll adopt a new friend. Thanks for your video.

We tried grass but the cats would use it for a litter box. We prefer it staying clean and letting them use the real litter box indoors.

Maybe having some lawn would be nice for the cat, with some shade and catmint, long grass. Surrounded by green but none of it close for your cat to lay on, sniff etc

Is the top of the enclosure actually open or do you have the screening material up there too? I love your idea! The tunnel leading to the enclosure is a great idea too. You have a very lucky kitty!

I am really quite shocked at the negative comments on this video. Thanks for sharing a really beautiful catio. The effort that went into the design is amazing. We are working on our catio now and I am taking inspiration from beautiful catios like yours. I read you have 5. How do they do together? I’ve been concerned about how mine will handle if they fight. I actually have a sanctuary with rescues and while most all of them get a long well there are still 2-3 boys that fight. One chases and the others run for their lives.

Some people will complain about anything. My cats love it and so do I. Sometimes there is a roadblock and one cat doesn't want to move to let one by in the tunnels, but they always work it out. They are very patient and wait their turn. Thank you for your kind remarks!

I just kept reading one after another thinking to myself, “who says this stuff to a stranger, that has shared their hard work?” Id hate to be a family member or friend, talk about hyper critical. Lol What a head scratcher! You are very welcome. I appreciate you sharing. I will post video of ours once we finish. I am sure the negative Nancy’s will do their best to let me know what they don’t like and maybe what they think I should change. 🤣

Hard to sweep out those tunnels? Fur, dirt and debris will settle in. Maybe hose w/water?

The tunnels are fine. I rarely do anything to it and it cleans itself with rain and wind.

These things that people build are awesome but I'm always puzzled they don't use smaller mesh screen to keep out bees/wasps. Only thing after that is I'd be worried about flea infestation.

We considered smaller screen but the pet screen was rather expensive. Might do that in the future. As long as you keep up with flea meds the fleas aren't a problem.

Looks like there might be a gap by the pet flap where the cat can get out....

Uggh is right. We have subdivision HOAs to thank for that. It isn't enough that the government wants to control every facet of our life we have our neighborhoods doing it.

Fences are allowed but don't contain a cat. A neighbor watched their jack Russell terrier get carried off by a coyote. So I keep my kitties safe.

We aren't rich. Gazebo cost $1,000. I built the tunnels myself. Gives the cats outdoor time whenever they want to go. They all love it.

Enclouser needs some shade.

Hope not have something like home owners clubs that tells what you cant do or can do with your own home inside and out. ✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌🆗

My cats get yard time when I can be outside with them. They can go out to the cathouse anytime they want. I don't think they feel cheated. They are pretty lucky!

They get lots of yard time as long as I can be out with them. This is for when I am away or can't take them out or when I am sleeping at night. They can go out anytime they want fresh air or to watch the critters and seem to love it and I know they are safe. I would say it is a lot better than keeping them in my house all day or letting them roam the neighborhood and get hit by a car or eaten by a coyote.

Catio needs natural trees, plants, grass and room to roam. Yours is way too Sterile.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive. A cat can live safely and have a contented life simultaneously. What’s wrong with being kept safe? And that breezy, wide-open enclosure is hardly a mere "cage". It’s a beautiful set-up. All cats should have one!

My cats love it! They can go outside anytime of the day for fresh air and to watch the birds and such. I still let them out in the yard when I can supervise them. Otherwise they have full run of a 3 story house.

Love the idea but I think apart from the bit at the end , its kinda ugly , probably would look a whole lot better being 6 foot off the ground so you could walk under it instead of around it and theres a lot of wood....looks like a over kill , its only a cat not a lion LOL,,but idea is great.

why a cage when you have a huge garden? Let her free.Cage is cage. no contact to other animals notr enough movement no exploring. A very bad example, i am shoked.
