She did an interview once that stood out to me… she said something like “I’m so tired to apologizing for being myself… I’m sick of being sorry that I’m not ugly, I’m sorry my life is not in shambles, im sorry that I have been blessed in my life… blah blah… just let me live” it was so powerful. Sometimes as women we are asked to tone it down a bit and it’s awful…. Let’s just let people live 💜

@Queen of the Night actually, it's the opposite - we are terrible at hearing our own accents, because whatever accent is most familiar will vanish accordingly, since that accent defines "neutral". So the parts of her accent that are closest to yours are the ones you are least likely to notice.

I praise her for how confident, calm and grateful Catherine was talking about each dress, each look. When you feel and talk certain way, you convince others in that too. Looks were fantastic no doubt, but how many times we heard famous people doubt them or complain so the whole look went downgrade after that? That's what I mean, she's not only had great looks she also felt great about them and shared these impressions. That attitude changes the whole perspective.

Yes! She is very pretty, but the sound of her voice and choice of words are so elegant. I jusy lived vicariously through her descriptions.

I think the celebrities sound the most humble when they recall lesser known people by their names.. For instance, instead of saying, 'the costume designer', saying the designer's actual name! It's a very classy thing to do especially because a lot of people don't do it!

@@slavonijacro this is how a woman of 50-s looks like without HA fillers and botox and other things the Hollywood stars use nowadays.She is beautiful and people should stop asking women of 50 to look like in their 30 s or 40-s. Aging is not being ashamed of your wrinkles, saggy skin and grey hair. Learn to love your age.

I had to rewind a few times just to hear her say "Versace" "corsets" "piece de resistance" "empire". All these the proper way.

She might be "black Welsh " i.e. Spanish ancestry, so that might be why? Black refers to hair color by the way, not skin color, just to clarify.

She’s gotta be somewhere down the line. I’m half Mexican half costa Rican and she looks like she could be a family member of mine.
