I fail to see why front scraper couldn't grab a load on the way in . They're coming in downhill and get pushed by a dozer , uphill ?

Or both work in tandem like they were designed too, that d8 is hindering production,

That d8 is hindering production, there is a reason they are called ‘’ push pulls’’ . A fully loaded scraper will load its partner by pulling it quicker in shorter. Distance..

5-7 seconds in the cut! Your loaded, get the hell going! The extra time the scrapers are taking adds up to alot of missed loads by the end of the day. Also, if you're the second scraper in line and your right up the ass of the one in front, then take a second to drag your haul road! Smoother haul roads and cut and fill sites lead to more loads and less wear and tear on equipment. Which leads to down time! Good grief! If I was the foreman on this job I'd be loosing my mind!!

It's hard to even watch these two operators. Someone needs to spend a little time teaching them how to operate correctly. That 8 doesn't even need to push those scrapers if they were correctly instructed. What a waste of fuel and time. Money falling through the cracks. SAD
