It may wear the idler a bit more but it flaps sticky dirt out from between the grouses which I liked when operating one.

The awesome power of the diesel engines, linked to the power of hydraulics never ceases to amaze me. The amount of material that can be moved with one dozer and 2-3 dumpers is unreal. And these guys do the operation with great timing. Thnx MMC for the terrific camera work and catching the full operation. Well done. P.S. Can someone tell me where this is being done? I can't make out the flag, but maybe Greece? Just curious.

I love watching heavy equipment work ran them most of my life. But why is this titled D11 cleaning deposit? Only thing going on with the D11 is grading surface keeping passable for the heavy haul trucks. The heavy haul truck seem to be what this more about and they appear to be hauling overburden. They are certainly not hauling deposit ore.
