I friggin love these modified front loader buckets. They are as big as the trucks they are loading. It's so damn cool.

This seems to be very ligth material, 25 cubic metres hokd bucket maybe, stunning machine Cat, but that work with loader on video is always the same, you get sleepy hehe... i work with Takeuchi and Cubota excavators in very urban city, i have plenty instalations in the ground when the working place is and you must be very carefull not to make some damage or hurt someone. You must dig between gas and water pipeline and there are optic cables and hi-voltage electric cables. I guarantee, you can never be bored. 😂☺️

When you have a bucket that can load a truck in one drop that is a beast 😳

Que chulada de cat.. y que chingon de operador. Adi se usan esos equipos... antes de que se detenga el camion,,,, ya va vaciando el material solamente se necesiran unos cuantis segundos para cerrar cada ciclo.....para mover miles de mts3 de material x turno....👌👍👍👍al💯..exelente video..una sugerencia.. al tomsr estos videos.. pongale el tiempo de ciclo... para que quien no conoce de maquinaria sepa cuantos minutos se necesitan para cargar un camion😉👍👍👍👍🙏🙏

I had the same thought a while back but having so many relatively inexpensive trucks mean that there is never any loader downtime, trucks can be swapped out quickly and also repaired without expensive and long lead time parts. Seems to work for them without too rough ground or steep grades.

I wondered about that. But the deal is that the Greeks need their haulage trucks to travel on paved, ordinary roads, especially near their power plant. They also got one heck of a deal from Daimler-Benz for their mass purchase -- and finance -- of said trucks. All in all, the Greeks made some very savvy deals. I get a kick out of the locally-modified CAT bucket, too. They went large with the CAT because it has the hp and torque to dig and load the coal without further assistance. That's why it seems over-sized... but it isn't.

@@davidhimmelsbach557 I was wondering that... You're right, they have to travel on paved roads, and it is impossible with a CAT 785 or 793... Coal is not that heavy, and that oversize bucket, seems just perfect for the mighty 992. Thank you for your feedback my friend... God bless you!

This wheel loader must be a critical piece of equipment. Though expensive, I guess there must be a backup to run when it is down for service.

This has got to be Greece -- and that's one heck of a coal seam. (Is it, or is it just a pile near the plant? ) No wonder the Greeks are willing to shift so many meters of overhead burden. (!!!) The Greek coal mine is within sight/site of the power plant, BTW. Look at the other shots by MMC. This operation simply has to be the biggest power plant in Greece. It's gigantic. ( Four units, side by side. )
