Years ago I ran both the A and B models. Loved that job but surface coal mining is a very volatile job. You never knew when you would or wouldn’t work depending on the market.

Same here i was in surface mining for 15 years you dont know when go into work whether you would have a job or not, i loved the work though never got to run anything this old, oldest i ran was 92c and and 92 d, dont like the 92 g i hate that one piece straight boom ran it for 8 years, when i got in the 93k man what a machine its alot better than the 92 g , but my favorite loader to run was the 94 F

@@vivacehome1 The A and B were visually identical. The A model has a forward/reverse/speed selector that is a LOT different from the B and C model twist shifter setup. Has like slots to select from. There were upgrades to the B in hydraulic pumps and engine output. Neither model A or B were really good machines, at least when measured by the digging, speed, reliability of the C and D model 992.

That gives a new meaning to 2 scoops 😊
