Actor Cate Blanchett and director Warwick Thornton are releasing a new movie this week at the heart of which is a magical meeting of Christianity and Indigenous spirituality, set in an imagined monastery in a remote landscape.

Faith misplaced, maybe we're not as comfortable with our black past after all. The referendum was a miss step on a 236 year journey of misunderstanding, mistrust and loss of direction on a Burke and Wills magnitude. Yes Cate, wonderful but Australia tried ATSIC which really failed but you still have Noel Pearson, Jackie Lambie and the wonderful Pat Dodson.......so many there already. What was the "The Voice" really about? Nobody really knew........
