It was so sweet when Ann said, "Chew your food unless you have no teeth or you are old." Rip, Ann and Essy are amazing!

Dr Esselstyn changed our lives. I’ve just started sharing videos on my KZread channel about how our family has made this WFPBNO style of eating work for our family of 4 for the past 14 years. Keeping it simple is so key for us. We love Dr Esselstyn’s no-nonsense message.

Thank you. I just love Ann's enthusiasm. Your family is so very motivating for me to stick with the WFBP diet. 8 months into it, and I will never ever go back. I am 72. It is never too late to feel better.

Missed the live but watching one day later from Schenectady, NY. This is also in the Hudson Valley, about one hour north of the Esselstyn Family Farm. So much to like about this episode. So impressive that Ann and Essie are still so active, including Dr. E. still being the director of the program at Cleveland Clinic. I laughed when he recited all the greens and then commented it proves that WFPB is good for your memory.

Grill a whole eggplant, a couple tomatoes, a couple hot peppers of some kind, a head of garlic. Once everything is cooked, mash it all together (we use a mortar and pestle). Season to taste. Traditionally fish sauce is used which is not plant based. It creates a delicious eggplant sauce with no spongy texture. Im actually thinking it might be really ggod on a portobello burger. Ill hace yo give it a try.

I wish Dr. Esseylston would quantify how much greens to eat per day. I've heard him say a fistful and 1/4 of a fistfall. Does this equate to 1/4 cup six times per day or 1/2 cup six times per day? Thanks.

In answer to Kyle Ewings question: Put the oil on your skin instead of in your mouth and do it before showering. Don't use soap and pat dry when finished. Will keep your skin hydrated for 24 to 36 hrs. ( sesame oil not toasted, is best but sunflower or avocado oil works great too.

I know you did this a month ago but I was in the hospital having an aortic valve replacement. I'm just now feeling up to going thru some videos and saw this. Will a wfpb diet help me to keep my valve healthier for a longer period of time? I don't think I will ever get my husband on board but I'm having a hard time getting going because he gets so upset that I don't want to eat meat with all the saturated fat. He's a meat and potato guy. I need some suggestions on how to start....I have all your cookbooks and then some. Please help
