Catching Speckled Trout At The Secret Spot in The Middle of Nowhere

Спорт

I will teach you how to find fishing spots like these and more in my NEW and improved course, Inshore Fishing 101.
Learn more here: www.lafbelite.com/join-lafb-e...
Are you tired of people potlicking your fishing spots? Maybe you just want to enjoy the outdoors in peace and don’t want to put up with everyone and their mom?
I understand. Sometimes I feel that way, too.
That’s why I have a solution: fishing in the middle of nowhere.
The idea is to locate productive fishing spots not visible above the water.
Most fishermen focus on locations they can see above the surface. But reality is that fish live beneath the surface.
So, when you consider this, it’s easy to understand that there’s a lot of great fishing spots that aren’t sticking out above the water. They’re pretty much a secret.
If you can locate one, you’ll have a honey hole all to yourself that the potlickers won’t know how to find.
But it’s not easy. You have to spend a lot of time looking and trying.
In this video you will see the fruit of that labor and, at the end, you and I will go over what made this trip successful.

Awesome job Devan. I started your course about 3 weeks ago and I love it! I would consider myself a very experienced fisherman, I have been fishing in Louisiana since I was 4 and I am 39. I say this because I am still learning so much from you. I put your lessons to work and smashed a limit in the Biloxi marsh last week! Keep up the good work brother. Semper fi!

I echo this. When they are on, they’re on. And like a light switch, they turn off. Spent many hours fishing Chandeleur for the freckle belly and when they turn off, you may catch 1-5 in hours no matter what you tie on

@@markreeves9350you have to really pay attention when it’s going on. As soon as you notice that it’s on… you need to be slinging as fast as possible. Don’t mess around with bait out of the water… get it back ASAP. Because when the switch turns off…. It’s OFF!

Hey Devan, You done convinced me to do something that I never thought would happen, buy a baitcaster reel and invest in however many brain cells it takes and learn how to fish all over again. I was always scared and didn't feel like dealing with backlashes. Thanks to magnets and youtube bird nest shouldn't matter like the old days. I LOVE IT TOO,,,, yeah u right

Ain't no limit (size or amount) on white trout. You have to keep them iced down good as soon as you catch them or the meat will get a little mushy. They can get big (3lb or so) but most usually 12 - 17" max.

  • @charliematt4808

Also… if you freeze them they will be mushy when you thaw them.

What do u think is the kill/die ratio on released trout. I see a lot of fisherman hold the trout against their shirt which wipes of the fishes slime. The slime helps them fight of disease. Also sometimes removing the hook is pretty traumatic when the fish are handled. Just curious!

  • @johnfontenot7861

That’s why i don’t understand guys fishing just to release the caught fish, a significant portion of those fish die, I always assumed it was at least 1/3.
