In this video we will take you on an extension net butterfly collecting adventure as we discovered a colony of amethyst hairstreak butterflies - Chlorostrymon maesites on a sea grape tree in Margate, Florida. This new colony of butterflies came as a shock as this is one of the rarest butterflies in the United States and we found it in the middle of a concrete jungle known as Broward County. Join us as we score three of these blue and green gems.
