Yeah it really changed quick. This year has been full of wind but that was the first time I managed to get drenched. Oh well that's going to happen out there sometimes. Thanks for sticking around with the channel even though the videos have been slow lately!

One heck of a night man! But you endured and managed a few nut slappers lol. We finally went yesterday and put out at Reagan national. Nothing over 10lbs and they did not seem to want my cut gizzard shad. Only caught 2 off the shad. The rest was chicken breast of all things. Couldn't find any chicken liver apparently a national backorder according to two butchers at two grocery stores here. Was looking at my garmin map and there is a 70'+ deep area just north of the airport by three sisters island. Going to head up next time and check it out. Maybe tomorrow maybe not. The wildfire smoke was bad yesterday but today it is BAD. They are claiming every 10 minutes outside is like smoking 1 cigarette. Who determines that I dunno but that's what I am hearing today.

Hey man I hope you ended up having a good trip up there by three sisters. That hole can produce some monsters, but be prepared to loose some gear. It's toothy in there. It can also be hard to set up on and if there's boat traffic you tend to be in the middle of the river and get waked bad. You'll definitely catch fish on chicken breast, I've just only ever caught smaller fish on it. Maybe you'll get lucky though. I was out in that smoke working and then was fishing down that way the Friday when it was getting slightly better. Definitely coughed more than usual. It was real bad up my way in central PA too. Some strange things to live through lately.

It's weird how the flatties have changed in the last 2 years. It's like all of a sudden they got smarter. They must be watching KZread and learning our secrets lol. I think it has something with how little rain we've had this year and last summer. Looks like you fish the upper Potomac, I definitely want to try that area sometime it's a lot closer than going to DC all the time. Good luck out there!

@TheFlattyDaddies Yeah somethings going on different. Lol, and yeah, the flathead up here aren't as big, but there are a lot of them. We pulled 28 of them in one night before 1am in August last year. We have some high 30s. I'll definitely point you out some spots if you want to try up here for sure.

Small fish are better than no fish still a great video thanks for toughen it out for us. Always watch out for those fish that try to get physical with you their bad news haha

Thanks man glad you still enjoy the videos with smaller fish. I know some people only like to see big fish caught but I'm like you, if I like the creator I can watch them catch anything. And yeah there's some bad apple catfish out there always trying to nut slap us for trying to get a picture or show them off.

Haha yeah mother nature was against me that night. It was worth it though even with the smaller flatheads. It felt good to see some in the boat at least.
