Welcome back to the channel folks! We have something special in store for you guys in this video.
Today we are a little ways outside Miramichi on an unnamed river chasing some wild brook trout. I have been on this river before but never up this far fishing for trout. Google maps is key to when I'm looking for new locations, your able to get an idea how wide the river system is along with a birds eye view of turns in said river system your looking at. I've said many times before, any river that has many turns in it and structure it will hold fish. You just have to go where the crowds are not and you will find the honey holes!
This is a little different type of video for my channel, not only is it my first yak run in many years, but it is also the first time for longer form content. Yes it was!
I use a short narrow canoe with a low seat and a long kayak paddle. It's like the best of both worlds. Tons of room for 1 person, dogs, and gear, but you get that maneuverability like a kayak. Lol it's funny that came up because twisted tea is the second most common can found on the trail where I live, after bud light! 🤣

Nice fish at about 8 in, nice colors, and tasty cookout, NB has some beautiful areas for sure, been through a few times, never got to fish the Miramichi tho, thanks for sharing adventure, sub and like 95

Lol yeah the other one was keeping the strap on the front from rubbing the paint away 🤣
