there is no feeling like successfully grabbing a cat by hand that has avoided traps. I waited and waited for this one cat who wouldn't come out immediately but she was responding to my yowling and mw playing kitten sounds. she got closer to eat and once she started eating I grabbed her. it was like I had won a million dollars. she was a momma who was suffering from mastitis, her poor milk factory was infected. We got her healed up, cleaned up, and are fostering her and trying to socialize her slowly but surely. Thank you for sharing and saving these babies!!

I was able to hand grab a feral while he ate as well! As soon as I had him in my hands I pulled him tight into my chest and quickly retreated to my office and let him decompress in an empty room. I called a local rescue and they got him within the hour. A week or two later he was fixed and at Petsmart for adoptions. He got a nice home and his unsocialized sibling and mother were sterilized and returned to the little colony behind my office.

You are a saint for doing this! We’ve had a lot of feral cats popping out litters in our neighborhood. I’ve trapped a few and taken them to county shelter. Also have adopted very small kittens I’ve caught. Currently have one big boy I adopted several years ago. He was a tiny guy when he bit the heck out of my hand when I first took him out of the trap. But he has become an affectionate if somewhat shy buddy.

Wow, you're good! My husband and I have a feral kitten that was abandoned by his mother and father kitty during the pandemic. This kitten -- now a cat -- is very sweet, but he'll only come to me when I'm in a certain room (a small room I have upstairs). When he's in other areas of the house, he'll only sniff my finger. He doesn't hide, but he's still afraid to come close. Except when I'm in that one room, he loves that room. I go in there and he runs up to me, rubs against my leg and lets me pet him. I haven't picked him up yet. He won't let me. He gets along great with the other two cats.

We had a still mostly feral older kitten escape his cage in the house and trying to trap him resulted in a constant stream of our cats tripping the traps. But he loved playing with other kittens we had so we used one of them as a decoy. We just held one of those kittens in one hand and scooped up the feral kitten with the other hand. He was so interested in the little kitten he forgot to be scared. That guy ended up being a foster failure due to health troubles and we had him for many years.

Omg, I literally tried to rescue a kitten last night and did pretty much what you did but the little guy got me and bit/ scratched me. I let it go. And thankfully the mama came out right away and they ran away together. Was relieved it atleast had her. Needless to say I have some war wounds, but would do it it all over again. 😻 you're the best!! 💜💜💜

Side note: didn't see the mama around for a while. Thought it was a lost kitty.

Don't you have to be immunized for rabies to do this work?

@officemanager8624 Good question! It is definitely recommended to do so. And if you are bit, you should get treatment. I'm getting treated for it. There's vaccinations that should last at least 3 years. Def look into it w a professional, as I'm just telling you from my experience 😻
So sorry for your loss but I'm so glad that you're still saving kitten lives❤🎉
That was awesome! I’m usually not fast enough to scruff them lol. I’m super impressed that you managed to do it while filming too!!
The Kitten Lady has "cat like reflexes " no surprise here...nicely done your kityyship you are and will always be an inspiration and a true national treasure
My two girls were stubborn like this too, but they didnt let no one sneak up on them. It took over a week and multiple different return visits to catch them, long after their third sibling had started settling in. Now theyre the happpiest little spoiled house queens.
Hi Kitten Lady!! I am very glad to hear that you got your Instagram and Facebook back from those awful scammers. Love your videos on all platforms and look forward to seeing more in the future!!❤❤❤

@@Yosatorn.Asavapatr.Naptvik She posted several videos about it on Instagram and Facebook, but it was this person saying they wanted to do an interview and to do an interview on those platforms you have to give them certain rights to your account (not too tech savvy with either of those platforms so idk how that works lol), but anyway she did that and the interview person turned out to be a scammer, locked Hannah out of her accounts and held her accounts hostage. Luckily, she was finally able to get both accounts back, and I think she mentioned they found out who scammed them. Not just Kitten Lady, but its been happening with a ton of other pet-based social media accounts just this past week.
You are brave to do a bare handed grab. I did that to save a baby kitty that was running wild in the road and going under cars waiting at the traffic light. When I grabbed her I got bit for my efforts. Thankfully I didn't let go n got a better scruff control. Got her home and now she's 7 months old and a happy house cat with 2 kitty "Aunties".
Kitten didn’t look too disappointed. Oh no, the endless food lady is taking me away!
Awesome job. It can be so hard when you just want to help them and you can't get them into the trap.
Aww! Thanks for helping those sweet babies, that little black kitten is super cute
My heart was racing waiting for the moment Kitten Lady would catch the illusive kitten. And then...in a flash, Hannah caught the kitten! Stopping the cycle. 🎉
I've just got back from feeding my local street kitties. I met 6 spayed females out there tonight.
im so glad you didnt leave that sweet ones behind ❤ youre the best kitten lady.
Oh well done. And they are so cute. I was holding my breath as you moved your hand towards that little one. We support TNR and all 5 of our current kitties are rescues.
there is no feeling like successfully grabbing a cat by hand that has avoided traps.
Que trabalho maravilhoso , 👏🏼👍🏻♥️‼️Obrigada por ajudar esses pobres gatinhos ❤❤❤❤🙏🐈🍼
this is the level of dramatic tension I can handle right now
like a close up magician, she got her hand to the back of his head before grabbing. harder for him to see and he wouldn't want to run towards her.
glad they are getting the help they need now 💖💖
I was able to hand grab a feral while he ate as well!
I imagine that's what my Lynxie looked like as a kitten. Thank you for not leaving that baby behind. 😢
You were so patient with the little baby kitty 😺, I was very touched 😊.
Love everything you do. Rescued kittens, if given a good start, become such amazing additions to our lives! And for those that are sterilized and released, they have a better chance at healthier lives without creating more unwanted cats.
Poor lil thing…thank you for helping
great job hes a cutie!! also omg the gray one at the end looks just like my kitten zelda!! i never used to see gray kitties much but since getting mine from my best friend they are suddenly popping up everywhere lol i can never praise you enough for how good your doing for all these animals you love and foster hannah
Good job and thanks for your dedication. We need more people in the world just like you.❤
That’s so great. Thank for taking care of these wonderful little guys.
Kitten Lady, I didn’t realize I was holding my breath until you safely got him or her. 👏🏼
BLESS YOU for all you do for are furry little friends 💓
I'm so glad you're posting vids again!!!
I finally got your books ordered and they should be delivered tomorrow. I'm so excited. They are a gift for my grandson, we will see if I have enough willpower to not open them up before he comes to visit again
Dang, you are good, Girl! That was a fast catch.
So glad you didn't leave that little guy out there. Knew you wouldn't!
Ooooh, black spicy babies are my favs! No match for that cat hand tattoo! You got this Hannah! Woot woot!
They are all beautiful gorgeous animals.
Just tonight I discovered that a stray had at least one kitten under my deck. It is so stinking cute. Now for the hard part of catching both of them. I also live where it snows and gets to -35 so time is of the essence.
Trying to befriend a mother/kitten duo that frequent my front porch for food and naps. I made them a winter hut, but they let an opossum move in it.

Well, some opossums need help too. 🤷♀️ Can you build another hut/home? I'm sure they'll appreciate it! Then you can catch them & spay/neuter!
Kitten gets caught, instantly puts on a cute face like saying 'thank you, now give me treats'.
**licks chops** "u very fast" "u win" LOL Love this video 😸
The little guy looked relieved when you caught him.
Thank you lady for rescuing cats, bless you❤😺
Watched this on mute, it just came up on my feed. And then I saw the hand and I was like - THATS HANNAH!!!! ❤❤❤
Those kittens was feral, but was curious about the food, so they will grow to be good kittens 😍
Meowth-Hisster was caught! That RazzBerry food chunk was his undoing :)
I love how most kittens immediately respond to scruffing with "oh youre the mom" except mine lmao
Thank you!
Aww, glad to hear the little bait and switch hasn't turned them off to people
@Kitten Lady How old were they, best guess?
Oh my GOOOOSH! My twin black kittens were born in a TNR trap and Harley was getting soooo many scritches while we watched this video! THAT IS THE CUTEST RESCUE EVER!
The thumbnail picture is so cute with the little blep. ❤
Aw so cute precious kitties❤️
How to catch a feral kitten...... Be a ninja! 😹
What a cunning baby ❤❤
Job well done Hannah!!!! 👏👏😻😻
Cobra hand
Beautiful babies! ❤
that is some expert kitten catching, she was like a ninja
haha. One of ours is a black cat that was the same exact thing. They caught everybody in the group but him, and it took them almost a week to finally catch him.... He is the most affectionate cat we have ever had...
You're a brave lady.
May God bless you..❤❤❤
I adopted a kitten that was found at a Piggly Wiggly. She's gone from terrified to running the household. Best decision ever!
Thanks!
Nice catch, Hannah!
I just rescued a black cat owner passed away and the daughter threw his cat out in the street the cat is so sweet

I am sure I heard a couple of fluff you's from that kitten. 😂
You uploaded this just to show off your mad epic scruffing skills; didn't you?
Gracias ♥️♥️🐾🐾👍👍🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈🐈
Love you Hannah!
Hello! I love what you do here for cats and our humanity. I’m in desperate need of advice for my 4 month old kitten. She’s unable to walk and clean herself. I’ve been to the Vet twice but affording more medical bills will be tough during my daughter’s senior year in High School. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. ❤❤❤
We have TNR for our cat shelter I volunteer at.
Must adopt all the spicy black mewlings. Wish I could have more but I have 7 right now. Are these too old to be despiced?

Check withy our local shelter to see if they have a TNR program, if not you can always find traps at Tractor Supply, just get the medium sized ones. Watch videos on how to TNR first because there are a lot of issues a lot of people don’t realize when starting out. Good luck
What a cutie!
