• Catching a Bobbit Worm...
Part 2: • Catching a BOBBIT WORM 2
Gopro HERO 4 - Catching a BOBBIT WORM - • Gopro HERO 4 - Catchin...
So guys, let me answer some of your most common questions. First, I would like to say that I did not expect this video to get this much attention but obviously bobbit worms attract attention wherever they appear. Video is a bit long and not so exciting so for those not so patient I think it's not a bad idea to put video on 2x speed. I'm catching bobbit worms for my fishing needs and that's the only reason I catch them for, fish just can't resist them. The reason I put this video on youtube is because I do not only find them fascinating as creatures but the procedure od catching them too. The trap in which they get caught works on the same principle as mousetrap and most of them are alive days after until they end up in the jaws of some fish.

is that what you call it? instead of say why you like it, you refer to a video that doesn't explain...can you not use words instead? If you can't explain something in one video, why would I think another video would be able to explain this one better? hard pass from now on

Thanks for your likes, subscribes, shares and comments!

Wrong, if you cut a Sand Striker in half the second part will continue living, but will slowly die. The separated parts can grow a head back and keep on living only if the worm itself is ready for asexual reproduction, where it splits itself in 3-4 pieces depending on the original lenght.

If you’re talking about the constant clicking, popping and snapping sounds, that would most likely be the sound of thousands of Snapping Shrimp. Snapping Shrimps are tiny but loud little creatures and they snap to communicate with other Snapping Shrimps.

@@gumbo34 They're true worms. If you pull too hard it'll break in half, the head that you pulled is still alive and will regenerate a tail. The tail you left behind is still alive and will regenerate a head. It's a real problem for aquarium owners. Sometimes Bobbit Worms sneak into their setup hidden inside of live rocks, and this fact means actually getting rid of one short of pitching the entire rock is hell.
