Thats why i recently fell in love with america. Well i have never been in america before ( i live in germany) and theres just such a big difference with the vegetations and everything else. I could imagine a beautiful life in america where i go fishing most of the time and always learn more about the american fish there. Im actually a perch fisherman but another dream is to catch an nice largemouth bass. And its much better in america because we in germany have lakes which are property of another fishing club where you first need to register for to go fishing there. In poland you have such a thing called PZW. The PZW owns many lakes there but to fish there you just need to buy a card online or in a fishing store and you can fish on almost every lake and river. And the good thing is that the PZW always stocks the lakes. Its just so awesome too always learn much more about america and the outdoor. Its just my biggest dream to live there a beautiful way. We'll see how it will go on. Greetings from Germany :) -Marv

So we have Perch (Perca fluviatilis), european Pikes (Esox lucius), Zanders (Sander lucioperca), Asp (Aspius Aspius), Rainbow trout, Brook trout, Barbel, European Catfish (they get up to 2 meters long), roaches, breams, Gobies (which are a plague here in our lakes), european eel, Carp, Curacans, Sturgeon and many others but only those who i just named got in my mind. I actually fish for Perch because when you have a 50cm+ on your hook on a light rod it feels like you would fight with a tuna on a stick. We have pretty nice species here but i would love to catch a real american largie.

And i gotta admit, poland is one of the most beautiful countries with the best fishing reservoirs in europe. Last time i was there, i went to a lake with my cousin and his friend. This lake was in a very stunning forest where you could watch the sunset. And the lake is just like an emerald. When you go out with the boat on a place where the depth is about 3 meters, you can still see the ground.

vegasfordguy I’m guessing the tiny fish. Nothing wrong with that if it’s above the legal limit (probably not by much though if it is) but you have to realize even most fishermen wouldn’t keep that thing even for bait, nonetheless a single person fishing for themselves. Kind of have to expect the dislikes to roll in then regardless.

Made that drive many, many of times. Never gets old.

I believe this is kirkham hot springs close to Cascade Idaho. It's an awesome spot to go to. The whole drive is gorgeous as well.
