I will always admire the way Shawn thinks. Learn skills baby, learn skills. Once they teach you fishing you don't depend on anyone begging for food. And a special message to Shawn: bro there is always option b: do it like Chuck Norris. Just point that revolver to the fishes & order them to get out of the water. 😂😂😂

For me it would seem simpler to set the line spool with the “spokes” outward(sticker toward rod) and line retrieval on the bottom so you could stick a finger on the spool spoke and use your finger as a reel handle. Of course the limb length would be shorter.

If you put circle hooks in your pack they don't need to be "set". The fish swallows it and swims away the hook gets turned and catches the corner of the mouth. Good series on fishing! Its always fun to huck finn the afternoon away. I wish the white washing trick worked for mowing...

Shawn, I've recently discovered your channel and went back on a lot of your previous posts. One of the episodes I caught was "Setting the record straight." In my opinion, you had nothing to apologize for. Common sense and consideration seem to be fading out very quickly these days, and I think that anyone who can post the hate I've seen in your comment section show a lack of both. You do what's best for you and your family and you are also conscientious about your video content. But you shouldn't have to apologize for things viewers should already know through common sense. If they disagree, then common courtesy may cause them to make suggestions or just keep quiet. Carry on as you are as long as you're happy, because that's what the majority of us want to see. And hear what your wife has to say. Your different ways of looking at things will work for both of you.
