*Catch Carp on Day Sessions with Dave Levy* Lockdown Day Ticket Fishing Tactics EP1

The first episode of our Lockdown Day Ticket Tactics series with big-carp catching machine, Dave Levy. Lockdown restrictions due to COVID-19 at the beginning of 2021 have meant that angling can only be done during the hours of daylight, so, with that, we sent Dave off to the banks of day ticket fisheries in the UK, with the aim of him catching carp on limited time and at fisheries that are accessible to all.
So, if you want to make the most of day session fishing for carp and want to find out how, then you can watch as Dave approaches a variety of day ticket waters with a number of different carp fishing tactics and angling techniques.
Episode 1 sees Dave take on Jimmy's Lake in Essex and while the water in front of him is freezing right in front of his very eyes, it seems that it's going to be a hard day out angling. It doesn't deter Dave though and he soon manages some success with the carp, as well as another visitor falling to his carp fishing tactics, though an unlikely capture, especially at the time of the year and the freezing winter temperatures.

A proper Angler loves anything he catches I fish mostly for carp these days but I love all fish still have great memories of my youth fishing for gudgeon.

Great video once again. Thought I’d just say that when lakes are frozen the water under the ice warms up slightly due to it being insulated 👍🏻

@@joshyxz Thanks There is a local lake to me five minutes in car but being a park lake I would have about 1000 each day walking by My syndicate lake is 15 miles away and takes about 20 minutes to get there so Im not fishing at all

Dave Thompson I’m only fishing my park lake mate also I have loads of people passing me. Strange how that’s allowed yet I can play golf on my own in the middle of a Forrest. Suppose it comes down to how big you’re town in. Tbh mate if it only takes 20mins I’md do it
