It's US propaganda to criticise President Putin, the US and the west have banned free speech and any news from Russia and so US propaganda is all westerners hear. The truth is that President Putin has saved Russia from US corporations, that wanted to divide Russia into 4 new countries that would be easy to steal resources from. BRICS , now also backed by Saudi Arabia has for the first time given poor countries the hope to break free from the US stranglehold on the monetary system, which daily dictates policies to enrich the US and other colonizers. President Putin is respected in most of the world, it is only NATO countries that attack him, because those countries have extremely censored news, but the truth is gradually coming out about western corruption and manipulation of the western electorates.

I know what he means but he isn't using the right words. By liberal, he should use socialist. Liberals were not socialists even if the word is used that way. Fascism was socialism. So it's: Scratch a socialist and you'll find a socialist. Some of the early writings of their beloved comrades are really quite chilling when it comes to saying who should be killed outright but it's been covered up so well that other words have taken their place. Socialists believe that people should be killed for their political thoughts.

As a Canadian, the next election will feel like Christmas. I voted for the conservatives twice before, hopefully the third time will be the charm.Trudeau must go.

A Canadian citizen of 25 yrs, I left Canada in 2021 and my intuition to do so was spot on. Observing the Canadian government from overseas now embarrassing itself on the world stage over and over again makes me think: "Wow, I dodged that bullet in time!" It is pretty unbelievable how the entire parliament applauded at the House speaker's announcement and not one stopped this ridiculousness with at least a simple question "Wasn't Russia our ally, mr. Speaker?"

He stood there confused, and did not cheer like the rest of the people. And was hoping no one finds out what just transpired. This is why the ethnic cleansing of the UPA was astonishing in its effectiveness and why the Poles in Volhynia in 1943 were almost as helpless as the Jews in Volhynia in 1942. The campaign against Poles began in Volhynia, not in Galicia, probably precisely because the Ukrainian police played a larger role in the events of the Holocaust. This connects the extermination of Jews with the massacre of Poles and explains the presence in Volhynia of thousands of Ukrainians experienced in genocide.

As a Canadian and descendant Of Ukrainian, Polish and German Jews, this is such an insult to the Winnipeg Riffleman, mostly of Ukrainian decent, that were the best Western Unit on D day and made the most gains of any unit that day that opened the door to stamp out Germany. I weep for the men and boys that gave their lives that day. Is there no bigger debt that we can owe than to the men that sacrificed their life, than to live the life as they envisioned for us. This is not what they wanted for us.

It wasn’t a mistake they just hoped the public wouldn’t notice. The support given to this man shows how extreme the Canadian political class really are imo

What would YOU have done if you lived in Ukraine at that time? Joined the communist party and waved the red flag - the symbol of Stalin and the Soviet Union that enslaved your nations and starved millions? Everyone thinks this is so black and white, but at THAT time, in THAT place, there was only black and blacker. NO choice was good, so people had to take a side. I'll never blame someone in that situation for choosing fascism over communism. Trudy is a moron and had no idea what he was doing (he's THAT stupid and was brought up by his communist father thinking the Soviet Union was the cat's ass), but taking a side (ANY side) against the Soviet Union was a valid choice. Period.

As a Canadian, I am embarrassed by Trudeau and his party which I didn't vote for.

That is so true! That was how Ukrainians came to Canada after WWII - thousands who were in CC Nazi capitulated to the UK army, went to the UK, and from there spread around the world.

I was pointing out that all those Ukrainian heroes (NOT SOVIET HEROES) were serving with nazis, either under their direct command or just alongside them. And the problem is not that they "accidentally" invited a nazi, but with their inability that see that when they invite Ukrainian heroes there are no candidates that are NOT nazis.

I guess it's only important if they fought against Russia, they should praise Hitler too I guess. I am glad this happened because Western countries are trying to change the narrative and not admitting that it was Russia who paid the biggest price in fighting against the Nazis, and they freed Auschwitz too.

@@tetianawatson9507 you do know that those countries didn't even exist before SSSR? Most of them were part of the Russian empire and others were just made up later on. Like Moldova, it's part of Romania and Russia. Oh and Ukraine was always a part of Russia, their emperors were crowned in Kiev, Holly Kiev. Please do educate yourself.
