Loving this content, I just recently started playing on colonist too, it's a lot tougher than on Catan Universe, the field is so much more competitive, I'm loving it, and hope to maybe even meet you out there one day.

It’s the best meta I know!

I played couple bot games and realized that bot places the place by sum of production points. That's why 8 4 10(11 pips) was the first spot! But I don't know the algorithm when there are multiple spots for same pips.

"bot placements 1" was one of my favorite challenge videos from you-- couldn't click the video fast enough ❤‍🔥 (also random, but does anyone know how the bot chooses spots on colonist? always kinda wondered/was curious..)

The bot always prioritizes the highest production spots available… no matter what. The reason I love this challenge is because there is so much you can do with high production into a 3:1 port with optimal play.

@@dandydrew I submitted a request to the devs for a button to just tell the bot to pick for you immediately. The 4th position pot placement challenge is a great time when that would have been helpful lol. But I genuinely think that a "bot select" would have a good place on this platform. Lots of letting the bot decide robber placement and steals in casual games. Why make us run the timer out if that's what we're doing the whole time

I think you can just leave the match when it’s your turn to place, let the bot pick right away, then rejoin so you don’t piss off the lobby haha

lol Drew. Assuming that orange is just not budging on your trade offer, instead of what seems to me the more obvious option that they're just not paying any fucking attention. I see that so often in Colonist games and it honestly annoys me, it's so disrespectful to waste other peoples' time like that. I mean I don't get MAD about it, it's a fact of life, but it's still annoying. Anyway that's what I think was happening there at the beginning. Also anyway, gg! Fun game for sure and insane last turn! Also winning without the 8 is nuts

You might be right there Chris. We will never know though. I would rather just think they are selfish trade-stingy catan players. Helps build some player personas for the channel. Life was good after the 934 for our setup 😅

Yes. That’s because there was not enough ore to distribute. This happens when the bank can’t fulfill all the cards on a roll. Instead of giving partial cards, it doesn’t give out any for that particular resource.

If you wonder what blue is saying, it's french with very very bad spelling to avoid translation of all the curses... Not sure what he is mad about, but damn, I would report him for this

Blue in this game is toxic in chat btw. He uses french somewhat transformed to make racist slurs. Very untasteful.

Thank you for verifying this. I have reported this directly with colonist. These players won’t be around long with this kind of behavior.
