Boat is nice, but lacks storage for cruising. Another drawback is; where are the drawers, all the cabinet doors opening sideways and down are not the best design.

Thanks for your comments Franklin. Catalina has done a really good job of storage on a 42' boat. There is plenty of storage around the boat. They have done a lot of research on the best way for the cabinet door openings and decided that opening sideways or down gives the most functionality. We know of many cruisers that are cruising on Catalina 42's and they love it. Catalina gets a lot out of a 42' boat. If you are looking for even more room and storage, check out the Catalina 54.

Down is great, when things move around, and you start to open the door, it doesn’t all fall out.

Horrible camera work. No flow to the presentation.
