Another thing is there's several times where you spam chain heal on a single raid member. Now, I know from experience that it can be hard sometimes in the middle of a fight to keep track of group positioning (this too will be mitigated by getting your raid to clump up as much as possible), but blizz really hammered multi target heals, making it so that they're really only good when you can get all the targets possible (3 of course in this case).

Really late to the party but, for those of you still wondering what the ending song is its the Lu Bu theme from Dynasty Warriors Online :3

In live the Ferocious Roar keeps you from being able to interrupt the Shadow Nova even with the longer cast time. To combat this, we had mages blink on the last stun to CS, or our 2 interrupters using our human trinkets and then interrupting. The Roars come 30 seconds apart, and you should only get about 3-4 at most before you hit the enrage :) You can survive through missing it but it's rough on the heals.

@OMFGcata The problem is you're still only getting 2/3 of the jumps. In those situations I'd instead argue to cast Healing Wave on the other people and make using of the heals from the healing wave glyph. One thing to keep in mind is that most of the unavoidable damage nowadays aren't going to kill anyone too quickly, so slowly healing yourself up through this technique works if you're on top of things. Also, if you need to use chain heal, try to initiate it on a riptided target, very helpful.

I love the FFVI sprite for Halfus in the intro.

Ah, a little tip for you Jessie: Next time, you should tank the drakes and Halfus at the same spot. If you get Cleave effects, Chain lightning or spreading afflictions on Halfus, the +100% damage spreads to the other drakes, making them easier to kill :)

Did Halfus have Malevoient strike at this time? when i did this we needed to keep tank swapping between dragons and boss because of the stacks.

One last thing, concerning mana regen. Get totemic focus in your spec. While the 7min totems are nice, the big thing this does is extend the duration of mana tide to 16.8 sec. I'd suggest loosing ancestral resolve for it. Also, when using mana tide, try to time it with spirit procs (like heartsing enchant and trinkets) or use spirit giving trinkets when you go to use it. This will result in a massive return on mana.

@OMFGcata You complain about mana regen but didnt bother to use mana tide totem until late fight? The fight is supposed to last close to 6mins, if you use it early in the fight, during the drakes, it allows it to use it again later on.

@6oobs Enhancement isn't a caster. Resto and Elemental are both heavier mana user than enchancement.

Mana gained does not show mana regen, it only shows how much to get from abilities such as water shield and rapture.

U guys only fought 2 dragon was it before they implemented the fight goin on at 3 drake .. ? Because its a much weirder intance healing fight somehow. Tonight we got the Slate and the whelps and the Storm rider the Healer where saying the fight was un healable and people keep dying 1min 30 in the fight.... Any sujestion.

@tykne enrage at 6 minutes... its hard to hit the timer, yesterday our 3 top dps were at 23, 18 and 16 dps respectively and we still were hitting enrage

The Buff for the Slate dragon on Halfus is wrong. He doesn't stun the raid, he gets a stacking mortal strike affect on every hit. We had to deal with that yesterday in live, so take my word for it. ^^

Just a few observations from a fellow resto shaman, Jesse. One, you need to be up front with your raid group about clumping up when there are not mechanics that make this dangerous. The mage standing off by his lonesome the whole fight is not doing you any favors. The reason for this is, healing rain is your most efficient heal now, assuming you can hit enough people with it (about 4-5 at least I'd argue). Remember, the radius for HR is huge, so you can even hit the melee with good positioning.

@Chraaze i think i need to just wait for a good group cus im forced to spam heals on tanks and ive been playing pally for a very long time now seal of light is ftw and judgment is cool but i dont see it 4500 regen out of combat and 3300 in or higher depending on procs and average around 10k in healing i caint keep mana at 7k healing i can at 10k its impossible let alone 14k i was oom in 2 mins sometimes u just have too hela that much to get the job done and holy pally can not

@deniedjoo well now im more geared and higher in raid content, if you want to keep mana up use judgement whenever its off cd and melee the boss if theres a breathing moment, on maloriak i can keep full mana until his last phase and on magmaw i can keep full mana the whole time

Didn't see anywhere in the video where you mention the mortal strike debuff he puts on the tank. I noticed you guys don't switch tanks at all to reset the debuff when you kill the whelps and drake. Don't understand how the tank survived with 90% reduced healing, must be missing something.

@anastari6969 Now you need 2 tanks... He stacks a debuff which reduces healing done by 10% per stack, I THINK ... So on 6-7 stacks,the other tank needs to Taunt him while you take on the drake that he has been tanking. And then you switch back when he has 6-7 stacks.And so on,and so on.

@anastari6969 I heal on my Resto Shammy and we got the exact same setup you did with the Slate Dragon the Storm rider and the whelps. What we did was kill the Storm Rider and had a our dk interrupt his nova throughout the fight. Then we released the whelps, after we killed them we ignored the Slate dragon and killed the boss. Hope this helps good luck

Yo jesse im also the resto sham and i try to cast lightning bolt whenever i can, even if its just one cast, its about +400 mana, and about +1500 if it crits =o

i posted this in one of your other walk through vids and aparently u didnt see that post either but i dont know why the hell you dont have unleash elements on your bars for healing it is ur cheapest heal have and if u read the spell and after using it makes ur next heal for 30% more read ur damn spells and healing will be easier
