Unfortunately my best solution is to vacuum everyday and dust often. For things like lamp shades I’ll use some kind of thick tape (masking, duct etc) and wrap it backwards around my fingers (excluding my thumb, which isn’t a finger anyway lol) and just stamp it on whatever I’m trying to get the cat fur off of. Lint rollers have never been effective for me and I find that tape is just stickier. It doesn’t get everything, but it helps. It’s a lot of work but unfortunately my cats don’t enjoy being brushed

i did not know petting cats was considered an activity for them!! i thought i was not spending enough time playing with my cat but if petting counts along with the hunting games then i’m doing more than enough lol

I hope you all find them a good home with humans who will genuinely love them. All indoor cats will gain & lose a winter coat. I brush mine once a day when he starts shedding in the spring. I don't have to brush him at all in the fall and winter. Fur easily comes off of cloth in the dryer. I use a lint roller for everything else... It breaks my heart that people would get rid of their cat because it's sheds. Could you imagine if people treated people like that. We live in a sad world. Disappointed.
