My cat is always sleeping with me. And I always put rain sounds and it goes well with his purr. When I feel bad, I cry next to him. And he would just comfort me. He is my safe place. Even if sometimes at night, he wakes us up by meowing loudly. Even if sometimes, he annoys us by making mistakes. I love him and I don't want thoses good times to end. This is what I would say 6 months ago. The only difference now, is that I wont hear him purr anymore. But I know he's still sleeping against me. I just won't see him anymore. So I put rain sounds with cat purr, so it doesn't feel empty when I'm sleeping. I hope he is in peace now. Nothing will bother him anymore. You are such a nice cat Dolby, Rest In Peace

I've just read 5 comments, 4 of which have lost they're cats. I am deeply sorry for your loss(s), I will now cherish my time with my cat. Also I agree with everybody about how great this audio is. Also this it loop. right? the cats ear twitching, the slight body movement for breathing, the two layred(?) window with one having rain droplets while the other had moving rain, AND THE COFFEE??!?!?!?!? I will be using this tonight for sleep, the rain and purring volume is great, able to hear both well. I miss my cat Sophia, she had a loud purr and was always in my arms snuggled up near my ear and purred all the time. I lost her to kidney disease 2 yr ago. I have 2 young cats now who purr but very quietly and I can only hear it if I put my ear on their body. They are great cats but I miss the purring sound. Thanks for making this recording.

My cat Shimmer did the same thing. She’d always be near my head and she had such a loud purr we would say she was a little piggy. She had diabetes but she had a good long life. I will always treasure her. May our babies be frolicking happily wherever they are.

This makes me miss my cat Hudson, he was the sweetest little guy you'd ever meet. Unlike other cats he loved to meet new people, and when I went to bed he would crawl under the covers and lay his head on the pillow like a person and then he'd put his paw on my face close his eyes and fall asleep like that

I moved into a house where an old lady cat started to sleep in my bed. She would crawl under the covers and sleep nose-to-nose with me every night of winter. She passed away 2 years ago, and I still miss her.

How could you not love this. I always have cats with me at night, we have seven of them here, three boys and four girls. I can't imagine ever being without a kitty, I also wish that they had a longer life. Cats are the greatest.

@SoothingAmbientSounds i lost my beautiful black bombay baby meow of 16 years to cancer 5 yrs ago i raised him from babyhood , every single night hed tuck in the kids and stay with them till they fell asleep one by one little protector . Then hed come to momma and mead my baack and snuggle up in my arms and purr till i too fell asleep for years since his passing i couldnt sleep at night i listened to this video at bed time and pretended my mini meow was with me and i slept like a baby thank you its like he meant for me to come accross this❤..i truly needed it now i listen every night after i say a little prayer for him maybe hes with me when i do , spirits, love and energy are very powerful❤🙌🥲🐱

I just adopted a kitten about 4 weeks ago (she’s 8 weeks now) who’s mother unfortunately passed shortly after birthing them. And she would always go crazy around the house at night, but I’ve used this for the past week and she’s so much calmer now and she’s started to sleep closer to me

This reminds me of my cats when they're in full comfort and ready for pets mode.

I lost my Bumble a few years back. I’ve always had cats, and dogs, but mostly cats. I’ve not got a cat since he passed, he was so Special, they all were, I can’t live sending half of my heart roaming about in this dangerous world. I’m not keeping them in. So I’m not getting another Now I look after the birds, to say sorry for the ones taken in my feline history. They’re so lovely. I have a dog, she’s my little bestie. But I still ache for that purr. whoever says cats aren’t affectionate have never loved a cat or been loved by one.

My kitty jack. He was given to me because the owners had too many cats. He was five years old. His breed tends to connect with one person, he connected to me. Every night i would sit on the floor with him until he and fell asleep. This little guy was my baby. He had really bad anixey and would pull his hair out. He is with a bettter home now. I coukdnt take care of him and breaks my heart. My pretty boy jack :(
