We had a black Burmese mix cat named Angie and she would lay her paw on me or my arm whenever she wanted something…usually food. She put me to bed every night by laying next to my ear and purring loudly, and would wake me up every morning by making mashed potatoes on my stomach…..to get her breakfast served up pronto. Such a sweetheart.

He’s such a gentleman. “ Pardon me miss, but could you spare some pets?”

Yes, mine is doing that, too. And even when I am very tired I cant deny her that, because she's asking in such a cute way! Sometimes when I really don't feel like it I pick her up and put her on my lap. Then she curls up and purrs and I have my peace and quiet.

I have Two cats, one does this, he’s respectful, affectionate and super super sweet The other, the gremlin does not request petting and attention, no, he DEMANDS it And will tell me off for not giving him the required pets at the required time He gets very very angy about his pets If I have an extra long shift at work, he gives me an ear full about missing his petting time And if I got to sleep early OH MY does he get mad

I have a tux kitty who taps for anything strawberry flavored, I guess he can smell it. If I don't acknowledge his gentle taps, he sinks his teeth into my arm and runs. No one taught him to not bite the arm that feeds him😽

+Lynn Lynn ... our little guy is crazy for cantalope! he tries to reach up and knock it out of my hands while i'm preparing it. It's the only people food he will touch .. but he insists on smelling everything we eat like he needs to approve of it before we can eat it. 😉 i'll let him smell strawberries next time we have any & see how he reacts.

Brianna V.B. I used to let him chase grapes but I know they can be toxic for pups, so I was happy to find something benign that he likes. BTW, if you want an excellent cat story, watch/read "A Street Cat Named Bob". There are a bunch of you tube vids on him and the book is awesome!
