The Imam is reciting this holy Aya (verse) from the holy Qur'an: ﴿ سَيَقولُ الَّذينَ أَشرَكوا لَو شاءَ اللَّهُ ما أَشرَكنا وَلا آباؤُنا وَلا حَرَّمنا مِن شَيءٍ كَذلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم حَتّى ذاقوا بَأسَنا قُل هَل عِندَكُم مِن عِلمٍ فَتُخرِجوهُ لَنا إِن تَتَّبِعونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِن أَنتُم إِلّا تَخرُصونَ ﴾ [6:148] - الأنعام Translation: The polytheists will argue, “Had it been Allah’s Will, neither we nor our forefathers would have associated others with Him ˹in worship˺ or made anything unlawful.” Likewise, those before them rejected the truth until they tasted Our punishment. Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? Surely you follow nothing but ˹false˺ assumptions and you do nothing but lie.” It should be noted that Imam didn't do that just because the cat is adorable, no, but rather, because it's Islam (the religion of peace) which taught us to have mercy on these beautiful creatures. The Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) said: Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A woman entered the (Hell) Fire because of a cat which she had tied, neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth. " حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا، فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا، وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خِشَاشِ الأَرْضِ ‏"‌‏.‏ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلَهُ‏.‏ And: Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "One day a man became very thirsty while walking down the road. He came across a well, went down into it, and drank and then climbed out. In front of him he found a dog panting, eating the dust out of thirst. The man said, 'This dog is as thirsty as I was.' He went back down into the well and filled his shoe, putting it into his mouth (in order to climb back up) and then gave the dog water. Therefore Allah thanked him and forgave him." They said, "Messenger of Allah, will we have a reward on account of animals?" He said, "There is a reward on account of every living thing." حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي بِطَرِيقٍ اشْتَدَّ بِهِ الْعَطَشُ، فَوَجَدَ بِئْرًا فَنَزَلَ فِيهَا، فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، فَإِذَا كَلْبٌ يَلْهَثُ، يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ‏:‏ لَقَدْ بَلَغَ هَذَا الْكَلْبَ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ مِثْلُ الَّذِي كَانَ بَلَغَنِي، فَنَزَلَ الْبِئْرَ فَمَلَأَ خُفَّاهُ، ثُمَّ أَمْسَكَهَا بِفِيهِ، فَسَقَى الْكَلْبَ، فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ، قَالُوا‏:‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَإِنَّ لَنَا فِي الْبَهَائِمِ أَجْرًا‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ فِي كُلِّ ذَاتِ كَبِدٍ رَطْبَةٍ أَجْرٌ‏.‏ And: Narrated Abu Qatada (rad): Narrated Abu Qatada (rad): Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said about the cat that, “It is not unclean, but is one of those who intermingle with you.” [Reported by Al-Arba’a. That cat is loved. You can tell The Shieikh takes good care of it and the cat returns that kindness.

Allah says: “Successful indeed are the believers, those who offer their salaah (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness.” [al-Mu’minoon 23:1-2] - i.e., fearing Allaah and in a calm manner. Khushoo’ means calmness, serenity, tranquility, dignity and humility. this happens when a person empties his heart for it (prayer), and focuses on it to the exlusion of all else, and prefers it to everything else. true faith is when the heart feels aware and humble before the greatness and glory of Allaah, and is filled with awe, fear and shyness, so that the heart is utterly humbled before Allaah and broken, as it were, with fear, shyness, love and the recognition of the blessings of Allaah and its own sins.

It's just another version of two previous books, which were also fiction. Humans have existed on this planet for 100,000 years before your old book was invented. To quote Christopher Hitchens, "ALL religion is mental illness, and the sooner a cure is found, the better for humankind". Religion has been the cause of more death and suffering, than any other human activity. Just watch the TV news today. There are two religions fighting each other, as we speak. Imagine, if these people had no religion. Would they be fighting then. Or would they be living together in peace?

The Imam is reciting this holy Aya (verse) from the holy Qur'an: ﴿ سَيَقولُ الَّذينَ أَشرَكوا لَو شاءَ اللَّهُ ما أَشرَكنا وَلا آباؤُنا وَلا حَرَّمنا مِن شَيءٍ كَذلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم حَتّى ذاقوا بَأسَنا قُل هَل عِندَكُم مِن عِلمٍ فَتُخرِجوهُ لَنا إِن تَتَّبِعونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِن أَنتُم إِلّا تَخرُصونَ ﴾ [6:148] - الأنعام Translation: The polytheists will argue, “Had it been Allah’s Will, neither we nor our forefathers would have associated others with Him ˹in worship˺ or made anything unlawful.” Likewise, those before them rejected the truth until they tasted Our punishment. Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? Surely you follow nothing but ˹false˺ assumptions and you do nothing but lie.” It should be noted that Imam didn't do that just because the cat is adorable, no, but rather, because it's Islam (the religion of peace) which taught us to have mercy on these beautiful creatures. The Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) said: Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A woman entered the (Hell) Fire because of a cat which she had tied, neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth. " حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا، فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا، وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خِشَاشِ الأَرْضِ ‏"‌‏.‏ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلَهُ‏.‏ And: Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "One day a man became very thirsty while walking down the road. He came across a well, went down into it, and drank and then climbed out. In front of him he found a dog panting, eating the dust out of thirst. The man said, 'This dog is as thirsty as I was.' He went back down into the well and filled his shoe, putting it into his mouth (in order to climb back up) and then gave the dog water. Therefore Allah thanked him and forgave him." They said, "Messenger of Allah, will we have a reward on account of animals?" "Islam teaches its followers to be merciful to all creatures, and all form of animal cruelty is forbidden. Why then, do many Muslims seems to have such a problem with dogs? Unclean Most Muslim scholars agree that the saliva of a dog is ritually impure, and that contact with a dog’s saliva requires one to wash seven times. This ruling comes from the hadith: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him throw away whatever was in it and wash it seven times.” (Reported by Muslim) There are several other hadith, however, which warn of consequences for dog-owners: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “Whoever keeps a dog, his good deeds will decrease every day by one qeeraat (a unit of measurement), unless it is a dog for farming or herding.” In another report, it is said: “… unless it is a dog for herding sheep, farming or hunting.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari) The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “Angels do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or an animate picture.” (Reported by Bukhari). And yes, Hadith's are the alleged sayings, doings and abstentions of Prophet Muhammad, and we are told that hadith literature explains the Quran. Without hadith, we are told that the Quran would apparently be a mass of ambiguities and cannot be applied.

​@@Klick17 Cats are considered ritually clean animals in Islam. They are allowed to enter homes and mosques. Muhammad himself was said to have been very fond of our purring little furbabies. Islam is actually very clear about kindness to cats. This man's reaction to the cat is not surprising in the least.

@@Klick17 I suppose it's because Islam is heavily steeped in cleanliness. “Cleanliness invites toward faith, and faith leads its possessor to the Garden.” is from Prophet Muhammad. If you believe that cleanliness is next to godliness, and you also believe animals are created by your god, then a clean animal is surely going to be considered a special beast indeed. Cats happen to be one of those clean beasts. So really, it'd have been OUT of character for that man, a devout Muslim, to have treated that cat any way differently than he did.

A cat sent from Allah himself! Praise be to the almighty! 😫😫

Had We sent down upon you a book on paper, and they had touched it with their hands, those who disbelieve would have said, "This is nothing but plain magic." 8. And they say, "Why was an angel not sent down to him." Had We sent down an angel, the matter would have been settled, and they would not have been reprieved. 9. Had We made him an angel, We would have made him a man, and confused them when they are already confused. 10. Messengers before you were ridiculed, but those who mocked them became besieged by what they ridiculed. 11. Say, "Travel the earth and observe the final fate of the deniers." 12. Say, "To whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth?" Say, "To Allah." He has inscribed for Himself mercy. He will gather you to the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt. Those who lost their souls do not believe. 13. To Him belongs whatever rests in the night and the day. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 14. Say, "Shall I take for myself a protector other than Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds and is not fed?" Say, "I am instructed to be the first of those who submit." And do not be among the idolaters. 15. Say, "I fear, should I defy my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day." 16. Whoever is spared on that Day-He had mercy on him. That is the clear victory. 17. If Allah touches you with adversity, none can remove it except He. And if He touches you with good-He is Capable of everything. 18. He is the Supreme over His servants. He is the Wise, the Expert. 19. Say, "What thing is more solemn in testimony?" Say, "Allah is Witness between you and me. This Quran was revealed to me, that I may warn you with it, and whomever it may reach. Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with Allah?" Say, "I myself do not testify." I’m catholic but the Muslim call to prayer is one of the beautiful peaceful things I’ve ever heard. Used to work in a jail and I always looked forward to hearing the inmates doing this

Allahu-Akbar. All Humans will have to return back to the soil. Believe in only Allah & the prophet Muhammad before you die, nonbeliever will be forbidden to go to heaven/ Jannah, and will not get a 2nd chance to get back to earth even though he/ she will cry. This life is a test, Allah wants to see what you do after you get full freedom, you have enough knowledge to find out what is the true religion by like reading Quran & compare with other religion books, Quran is where Allah tells you what to do & why you were sent here (it's not a speech of Muhammad although Quran was sent through him so he can spread it), you'll have to ANSWER for everything you do. If you can see Allah, what's the point of the test, note it....

Oh, well. I have no faith at all and feel no urge to pray. But I had this workmate, a strictly observant muslim, who set a corner in the warehouse for his prays. I was deeply shoked to see the dedication and devotion mesmerizing him during the praytime. I think that not even electrocution would made him flinch, much less a cat. I ended up helping him to better dial in the qibla for his pray spot. 😊

Whats amazing beside the quran itself is that the imam is reciting sourat anaam ( chapter animals ) ❤❤

The verse ended with “If He (Allah) had Willed, he would’ve Guided you.” and the Muslim congregation bowed because they are guided. Still gives me chills after a year 😮 The cat is more humble than CNN 😅

Aww. Does this mean my kitty loves me?😊 When humanity and nature colide. Absolutely beautiful. They say animals know who is good and whose not so great. I've had MANY experiences with wild animals people probably wouldn't believe me if I told them the stories. All true stories though. I think it's a blessing to have animals feel comfortable around humans when normally they wouldn't. So amazing! Just last weekend two wild bunnies allowed me into their space. They didn't run off, they didn't freeze either. They kept eating, watching me. I got closer and still they stayed. I sat down and actually told them how beautiful they were. I was less than 2ft from them. I sat there and told them I was thankful they allowed me so close. They hopped away together, slowly. Before they ran off out of my sight they both turned back and looked at me, I waved and that was that. It was such a fulfilling experience to go through. It helped me for the next 3 days with my depression. It helped me be calm when my car broke down in those 3 days after. I dont know how to explain it, but this is not the first time this has happened to me. I also had a family maybe even 2 families of skunks allow me to get close enough to pet their babies!! No joke! Friggin skunks!!! They didn't spray me at all. I was blown away by that too. That was a very intense experience. I was asking God to keep my children in the house because I knew my loud children would frighten them enough to make them spray, attack or run away. My children didn't come outside the entire time. I was actually able to pet wild baby skunks with no problem. I do not know how to explain it. they let me take pictures and video. I have to find it. But yeah, it was another experience I can not explain. Other than maybe God, animal and human working as one? God was showing me that anything is possible? Maybe he was showing me it is past time I forgive myself for my mistakes, maybe he was showing me, look.. you aren't the person others may make you out to be, maybe that has been Gods way of showing me, I SAY.. not what the world may say? I can't explain it. Maybe there are experts in both animal husbandry and religion that can explain it to me. I'm more than willing to hear what others may think it means? I didn't go skunk watching, they came to me. I didn't go bunny watching, they came to me. I've had it happen with deer and a racoon too. I dont know how to explain it. Family and friends pets always love me and seem to have almost an immediate attachment. I dont know how to explain it at all.

It's probably the Christian account as well, but in the Quran many prophets had beautiful encounters with animals, even insects! Birds joined David when he praised Allah in a beautiful voice. Solomon had a Hoopoe as an informant and spoke to an Ant. From the Quran ( 38 ) And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. And it's considered a charity to leave trees for humans and animals to eat from after death. I can go on and on 😁 Look it up and I pray Allah guides you for the truth. Sometimes pain and emotional hardships are God way of calling back hearts he see pure enough ❤

Animals have a sixth sense that we humans lack. They can sense things that we can’t and they act accordingly. This cat’s affection for this man shows what a kind soul he is. He is truly blessed. 🙏

There is a hadith that answers this question. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said cats do not invalidate the prayer, because they are one of the things that are useful in the house. _ Sunan Ibn Majah 369

God is just in everything, and the clip did not spread by chance.
