He was monogamist for over 20 yrs with his only wife who was 15 yrs older than him! it only after revelation later on that he took on more wives with the people of the other tribes that embraced the faith to strengthen the tribal ties between these groups..he was also given revelation that he can marry more than 4 as a Prophet only applicable for him...Solomon had 700 wives and concubines in the Bible, so its not a big deal to have 9 or 13 wives or concubines amigo!

I just LOVE the calmness and beauty of his recitation. He was steadfast in his manner of recitation regardless of being “ corrected wrongly” so many times 😂

Credit to this imam. I've lead taraweeh in a few masaajid and the number of people that 'correct' you incorrectly is so annoying and distracting.

This Imam is awesome subhaanallah. In the second rakaa, the guy tried to bring confusion (maybe unintentionally even though his attitude is rude). But Imam used it as a reminder for where he stopped in the first rakaa and he continued. May Allah bless the Imam and guide us all.

Surah Hud ayat 13 the imam was reading the man was correcting from the same surah but ayat 35 both of these ayat are similar but it was not nescessary for the man to try to correct for over 5 times...

His name is (حسن السيد)(Hasan alsayd) , results will not show in English only in Arabic it seems like he doesn't have much videos but there is a few including one where he addresses the issue after the prayer.

This imam is a real soldier. MachaAllah! He shows strong mentaly power! Which comes before physical power, at any time and place.

The rule is even if the Imam is wrong and imam does not take the correction he has full rights to carry on and complete the salah........you can not keep on correcting the imam like this Jahil man......May Allah guide us.

If you notice the Imam is raising his voice as a hint for him. He's trying to tell him that I am right and you should not interrupt. He did not pick the hint up. However, we could say that it proves two great man. One stood his ground and never went with the wrong verse whereas the other one, thinking in his head what he thought right, was trying his best that wrong verses not be recited. No one's wrong.

The corrector is wrong, after the two units of prayer, he could have spoken to the reciter to make sure that the problematic verse is re-read in the next rakaat, in which case this kind of an embarrassment is avoided.

I understand your opinion, but sometimes the kind of behavior of the Imam in being too stubborn can set a very bad example for the rest of us. I remember in our locality, the Imam had made an error, he left a word out from a Quranic verse in the rakaat, this verse was recited again on the following night of taraweeh upon the consensus of the Huffaaz. How beautiful is that? Than the nature of an uproar we see in the video.

Osama bin Bush Anas Bin Maalik said: While we were in the masjid with the Messenger of Allaah, a Bedouin came; he then urinated in the masjid. The Companions of the Messenger of Allaah said, “Mah Mah (An expression used to severly scold someone, to indicate the graveness of a matter).” The Messenger of Allaah said, “Do not put a halt to his urinating, but instead leave him.” They left him alone until he finished urinating. The Messenger of Allaah called him over and said to him, “Any kind of urine or filth is not suitable for these masjids. Instead they are only [appropriate] for the remembrance of Allaah, the Prayer, and the recitation of the Qur’aan,” or this is near to what the Messenger of Allaah said. He (saw) then issued an order to a man from the people, who then came with a bucket of water, which he poured over the [effected] area [of the masjid]. Everyone, please be at peace. Please don't insult the man who is correcting the Imam. He is only human just like us, prone to make mistakes sometimes. Instead, let's look at this incident as a valuable lesson to us all. From the Imam, we can learn from his patience. From the corrector, we can learn from his remembrance of the verses of the Al-Qur'an. We are family in the same brotherhood. Be kind to each other and to those who are not the same like us (Non-Muslims). Be patient to those who speak bad words to our religion. To those who are genuinely curious of Islam with no hate at all, then debate in the best of manners. To those who only spam hateful comments, be patient and be silent. Words can be sharper than sword but in the very end, words are still just words.

3:12 That part is the best recite I have ever heard in my entire 28 years of life.

That is the beauty of islam. We can overrule the immam if he is wrong. Is there any religion where attendees can correct the preacher same time? No it is in Islam only. That is why the quran which was revealed upon beloved prophet Mohammed 14000 yrs back is same what we recite today.

Please look at Surah Hud verse 13 and 35, there is a similar words of both verse. Why the man say the verse 35 when the Imam recite verse 13 of Surah Hud? The man argument is false, but the Imam is correct! Except, if Imam recites verse 34 and turns to verse 13 (for example), the man must say in the verse 35, so that Imam understand what the man say - if the Imam for the recite is in correct. Anyone agree with me? Baarakumullahu fiikum.

Subhan'Allah for imam's patience. May Allah grant patience and blessed abundant. Ameen...

This is how the Quran is preserved, even a imam/hafiz has no chance to continue mistake. SubhanAllah.

I don't speak Arabic but I can read Quran. The imam recited properly. I kept rewinding it and the member of the Jamaat made mistake. Why did he insist on his own error? Am I wrong? Witnessed Light I have read the whole Quran and read the meaning of it when listening to other reciters, but I am still Muslim. You know what I think? If YOU read the whole Quran most likely you will become Muslim instead of listening to media like a sheep (I don't mean as an insult just that's what is basically happening, people believing media way to easily). Read the Quran, and I guarantee you won't think the same! May Allah give us all knowledge and help you brother :)

+Twelve Gaming I appreciate the talk friend, but the Quran says stuff no one agrees like how the sun sets in a muddy pit (18:86). It also says Allah will use sighs to make us see the truth but its been 1,400+ years and where are the sighs? The Bible however says there will be mass animal die offs when Jesus is coming back, at around this year we have animals after animals dying at large numbers not because of humans.

Witnessed Light MINOR SIGNS Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah Most High be upon him) prophesied of the Last Age that: • “People would follow a way of life other than mine, and give guidance other than mine”…“I fear for my people only the leaders who lead men astray”…“Before the Last Hour there will be great liars, so beware of them”…“When the most wicked member of a tribe becomes its ruler, and the most worthless member of a community becomes its leader, and a man is respected through fear of the evil he may do, and leadership is given to people who are unworthy of it, expect the Last Hour”. All of these warnings have already been dramatically and ominously fulfilled. Around the world today, with but few exceptions, and even here in my native Caribbean island of Trinidad, people, including Muslims, now have the worst leaders. This ominous sign of the Last Day has come to pass, yet there are so many who do not, or cannot see, and they blindly rush as dumb cattle to endorse or to follow such leaders for personal gain, or fear, or due to sheer ignorance; • “Women would arrange their hair to look like the hump of a camel”, and this sign has already occurred, we see it everyday; • “Women would dress like men”, and we already see them today with trousers, jacket and, perhaps, a tie; and “women would be dressed and yet be naked”, and this prophecy, also, is now fulfilled. When women parade in public “dressed, yet naked”, as they do today, and when Muslims cannot prevent such, they should then seek to flee from such mainstream society rather than to remain a part of it until the women are fully naked and “donkey-like” sexual intercourse is on public display. If they foolishly choose to remain a part of such corrupt and decadent society then they or their children would eventually be ruined by such a society.

No one is trying to change anything here! the ayah that the Imam was reciting and the ayah that the man thought it should be are both in the Qur'an and also in the same surah (surah hud). So the thing is there are verses in the Qur'an that are similar to each other, and some times like in this case they are not only similar to each other but also are in the same surah. And some times and for some people they are difficult to separate.

How many ma'mum try to correct the imam at that time? If only one person, I will follow the imam. Every 1 think they are right, but imam is leader. And, in the case imam is right, coz that men is wrong for reciting different ayyat

kamran khan learn what ??? that people make mistakes. .. ain't you supposed to support your Muslim brother in not exposing his or her faults...??? there is so hadeeths about this. And besides. ..the person was already corrected whilst they were praying ...so what benefit is this going to have for other people?? Nothing!

bee care First that doesn't apply here, because the names or the faces of the people involved weren't showed here.. Second yes you can learn from it, first lesson is for the huffaz during taraveeh they should trust there insticnt, when corrected from behind they should only change there rhythm only if they have forgotten or have doubt, this particular instant is from taraveeh itself the man correcting him is also a hafiz its literally his job to correct him if he has made a mistake that's why he is there, But here in this case the imam stood his ground, trusted his instincts instead of doubting his memory, hence ... Lesson learned.

dan138zig that was not a correction I can read Arabic and the Emaam was reading it right the follower was mistaking the verse 11:13 with the verse 11:35 so he was just confusing the emaam, so annoying.

Even if the imam was reciting it wrong it’s not right to fix him, one it’s distracting to everyone who’s praying and for the imam and two it’s rude. He could’ve just told the imam after the prayer that he read it wrong so the imam could learn from his mistakes.

Ski if u know that imam has recited wrong then it is ur duty to correct him in the salat only other wise u will be asked for this on the day of judgement

if the islam says you need to correct te imam when he made a mistake. who are you to say it's wrong to correct the imam? are you smarter then the islam?

Can someone who knows Arabic tell me the translation of what the ma'mum/follower was saying/reciting to correct the Imam? was he mistaken for another ayah?
