I was so surprised that i could make a hat successfully even though this was my first time crocheting in any form. Mine definitely could be improved and came out a bit too small but thank you so much for this free, clear tutorial on such a cute hat! mine came out too small too!! but still love it. i used a single spool of yarn that had a gradient of colours and it came out really cute. but i would definitely love to try a striped hat next time.

I have a goal to make one but I just started.

As a 12 yr old crochet-lover, I've always wanted to make a cat ear beanie so I asked my grandma to make me one and she did (it was beautiful and she didn't need a pattern). I wanted to make my own because I am best at crocheting amigurumi so I decided to expand my crocheting knowledge by making one of these. It turned out great! tysm

Hey! I am wondering how this will work out for the cat ears, since it's all the same width. Does it actually look like the cat ear hats?

i made this in a few hours yesterday before going to meet friends and they all loved it! it also looked good on anyone who tried it XD. i sewed the top with two yarn strings of the opposite color in a whip stitch. then i tied off both ends and instead of weaving in the excess, i brushed out the yarn (it was 4 ply) and tied them into tassels! obsessed with it 😍

did you ever figure out what the problem was? i’m having the same issue and i count the stitches and I keep adding an extra one each row somehow but i’m not sure how i keep adding one so counting them isn’t really helping 😢

I love this pattern, thank you so much! I must have a large head, I needed 75 stitches per row and 17 rows wasn't enough so I added 6-8 more rows. Maybe my tension wasn't right or something, idk but I Absolutely love this hat 🥰

My hook is smaller then the one in tutorial so the stitches were smaller too i needed 95 just to fit my head i didn't even make extra stitches. Now I'm regretting TwT

Eeeee it's super easy and you explained it so well...💖💖💖 I've just completed mine yesterday and it turn out super cute now I'm gonna make one for my kitty and then we be twinning 🐈🐈💖💖💖

i've only made it to the end of the first part (where you start adding stripes) and my crochet is a bit wonky but i've had sm fun, this is a lovely video :-)
