    FYI for the people who don't know, the guest in this episode is Damien Echols, one of three men who were convicted for the murders of three young boys in West Memphis. The West Memphis Three is what they were known as, and the whole debacle was highly controversial. A very interesting thing to read into if you enjoy these types of things.

    @@cylusonsteam That is what's so interesting about it. I had to do a paper about the case in high school and there's a lot of stuff to speculate on. I'm not saying that they committed the murders, I'm saying that they were convicted for the crime. I personally don't believe they did it from everything I've seen.

    I was talking to someone with a degree in quantum physics a couple weeks ago. I won’t be able to describe this like he did, but, he was talking about how the field of study has made him a believer in a higher universal intelligence. He was explaining how we are recently finding that what creates energy is vibration, and that vibrations inherently has information within it. Information is what causes vibration to exist. He said most quantum physicists stop extrapolating there, because the fields of science have a phobia of the concept of higher consciousness since the renaissance. The problem with stopping there is that there is a dormant realization that information is created by consciousness. This is the next key to the puzzle that many are struggling to accept. In other words, the sequence of states goes something like this: Consciousness > information > vibration > energy > mass Consciousness existed before each of these other forms and was responsible for spawning them all. Consciousness can be expressed down through these other forms as well, and is inherently behind/within all these forms.

    @SimmonsEnergy it succeeded in multiple layers that sort of T.he Matrix did. If you watch The Matrix just as an action packed movie without getting into the philosophies that underlie the plot, you can still enjoy it because the action is really good. It can be enjoyed as a simple good guy vs bad guy. BUT if you also get the philosophical implications of the plot, the matrix of reality, simulation theory, etc, then action pack delivers double the punch! (Pun intended)

    "In the very first chapter of the Bible, they're talking about, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God." That's actually the first verse in the Gospel of John, which is the fourth book in the New Testament, not the first chapter of the Bible. His point still stands about it potentially being interpreted as an "oral tradition" though.

    @2:15 I’ve recently come to realize the importance of spiritual sustenance in terms of psyche, and how it’s legitimately necessary for the overall mental health of some individuals. Even if it’s not a known spiritual practice, or an organized religion, it could be a self established personal spirituality, it’s hella important to let your mind go to the abstract and inexplainable. That’s one whole half of the human experience, easily and understandably due to the times we’re in.

    Fair enough, but i have to wonder if you would (as someone in charge) want others to *_also_* gain power? although, as he made them, and if he did *_indeed_* GENERATE the "Current" then could he be considered as putting pieces of himself in all humans? In which case, is he; A:A controlling parent who doesn't eant his kids to grow and exert their own freewill (even though he is supposed to support them having it, supposedly?) and is denying his children the right to their own self determination by doing his best to limit their soul growth and the abilities that come with it? OR B:The catholic church, the largest pillar of christianity, is full of corrupt and power hungry individuals who are often accused of engaging in pedophilia, child sex trafficking and occult abuses of children, outlawed it and sought to consolidate the "Living Current" in order to concentrate power among themselves? Don't forget, originally? it was ILLEGAL for anyone other than the presiding priest to read the bible, that's why people used to go to mass, they weren't actually allowed to have their own copies of the book, a guy( i forget his name) tried translating and spreading copies of the book and got like, arrested and excommunicated.

  • @ItsEdboy

    @ItsEdboy

    @@Integritys_Sum it is said that those that rise through the ranks of Christianity through belief and action are granted the power of Christ. A “current” is available for Christian’s to use although is incredibly difficult to attain. Those that have this current can heal others in Jesus name, manifest things as well. Although manifestation is filtered through gods decision on weather or not you should get that. I don’t think its bad that god wants to keep us on the path away from black magics, when he already offers divinity in its stead. He clearly understands the full (destructive) potential of a unregulated current. What’s to stop someone from using this current for terrorism or the like. As for Catholicism, I was born into a catholic family but questioned those same people in charge who have failed to spread gods word and have been accused of heinous crimes. How can someone who is as terrible as I am forgive my sin? They can’t. And so I find myself on of the path of Protestant Christianity, no middle man to speak father for me. I am the only Christian in my family of Italian Catholics to have done this.
