Well why do you recommend getting a job instead of just preparing for Cat? Is getting into a new IIM with worex better than a fresher with 2 yrs gap year in BLACKIS?

Because it is the stupidest argument i have ever heard. I took a gap year and spent all year preparing for cat - an aptitude exam. This is not UPSC. You have only math and english. You will take a gap year and waste all the time on Netflix and have this conversation again in a year. even in an interview - who do you think interviewers will prefer - someone who juggled work and studies or someone who sat at home and only prepared. Also you will not be a "fresher" with a 2 year gap. you will be joining school 2 years late with nothing to show for the time gone. You here refers to any person planning gaps. It sounds harsh but that's the reality

Start by not assuming that your VARC should be really good.

What I really really appreciate about Priya is that no matter how busy she is,she always replies to queries. Sometimes that's all an aspirant needs. Everyone gives gyan, every aspirant need that "Jeetu Bhayiya" type of person who genuinely listens to concerns of serious aspirants. Got 93% overall, 40% in DILR, already 4yrs+ exp.....getting "gaalis" from parents....contemplating if I should give CAT again or else give Gmat...and someone like Priya giving replies means a LOT to an aspirant. I dont care who says it, but THANKS a LOT!! Sometimes thats what a person needs,to be listened to.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to say such nice things. I think you should consider colleges that don't have sectional requirements. More years of work experience won't hinder your admission with a good score. Having said that, do consider GMAT/GRE because you have a shot at getting an international MBA/MiM which is a great idea in itself @@kaushikbasu5344

Hi Priya I have got a 99.73 (99.95/79/99) . So have missed the sectional in DILR :( I am a BBA final yr student, Gen Male 89/96.6/74.5 (10,12,grad) I also have a 750 GMAT, 715 Gmat Focus (equivalent to 760 GMAT old) I have also cleared FRM part1 Want to understand realistically what are my chances, dont want to take a drop because afraid if i will be able to recreate my performance Will very much appreciate your response

If that is 79, then no you haven't. IIMA has a 70 sectional cutoff. Pretty sure B does too. So unless you were dying to get into C, you'll be fine. You're a domestic candidate, GMAT doesn't mean anything

As far as I know MDI decides sectionals based on the applications. As for GDPI prep, hold on while I share the best programme. (Nope, it's not something I am launching) @@aA1122__6
