TIME/IMS

So i gave cat last year and i scored 99.1 in varc but as i absolutely flatlined in quants ,i am retaking the test again this year ,my question was how can i improve my score in varc ?!, cause it seems impossible to get more then 45 marks in varc ,am very consistent scoring 40 to 45 but have never touched the 5's ,i do not struggle in VA at all as i can get all of them correct almost everytime ,but in rc's i struggle quite alot ,especially in CR questions based on Inferences ,i am already trying to make sure that i don't flatline ,jawdrop onto the bench when i see quants but i need to improve my varc score as well ,in need for tips and help if you can please!,

Hi Priya di can you please help me ..I am a BBA student, actually I had given cat 2023 and did not score well in the exam.. and now I am in my 6th sem and it will end in may and have got placed as Hr intern at DXC TECHNOLOGIES .. I am confused whether I should drop my job and do proper preparation full time for cat 2024 or should I continue with the job for a year and then .. give cat again? Please help me as an elder child I'm unable to decide what to do. There's a lot of mental pressure I feel regarding this... Please guide me.

@@NandiniSamnani if you were confronted with 2 students with the same profile and percentile. One had a gap year. The other had juggled college/work with CAT prep and still managed to score the same. Who would you pick to join your institute?

Old IIMs under diversity but you will to target high - 97+ percentile. Also it is pursue not peruse - step 1 of VARC prep has been initiated

Hi Priya, first of all congratulations for the nice survey and video!! I need this information for my daughter's cat preparation. I have to select a OFFLINE MUMBAI coaching institute between TIME and IMS. Maybe I am missing something, but I found all India positive response(YES) TIME got 45.41% (94/207), IMS got 69.04% (87/126). FOR Mumbai TIME got 31.57% (6/19), IMS got 70% (14/20). So the question is on what basis you rankedTIME highest rated against IMS? Highest students I can understand as TIME has a large base.Getting interview call % against students studying at institute is also important, which I don't know. Please advise your view on both points. Thanks.

@@mangleshsingh5274these responses are often doctored and paid so i wouldn't go by them. I exclusively asked MY Batchmates at IIMA, where they went and what they felt. My sample size were the successful students from whom i back calculated from. Max number of students is self explanatory. 1. When it comes to reporting on these surveys, the institutes call all their participants - mock takers, coaching takers, advice takers etc as students and give an inflated number. No one accounts for whether they were the reason for the success. 2. these surveys take into account many more students - there 20 IIMs + other fringe bschools who i didn't consider in my survey because, frankly, i was looking for the best among the best. 3. any exam success is not just dependent on the coaching, you cant expect an uninterested, unmotivated child to perform well, even if they get the best coaching. So time may be suffering from having too many students vying for the limited number of seats. I personally was not a time student, but nothing speaks like success. Hope this sums it up. next time you use a survey - take a look at the sample size, the definitions they use and their metrics of calculation and keep in mind the possibility of manipulation by institutes. TIME/IMS/CL etc didn't know about the survey i was conducting so they couldn't manipulate mine.

As mentioned in the video - Time is closest to CAT standards. IMS are tougher than that. In terms of sign ups - CL, TIME, IMS is your holy trifecta
