Come on fellow boot lovers! Everyone living in the DMV should be rockin' a pair of Caswell Bootmakers' boots! I met with Mr. Wilson to determine my size in the Porter Last. Kevin recommended I go a 1/2 size up to comfortably accommodate my orthotics rather than trying to stretch them out during break in by wearing thick socks as I had done in the past. I cannot wait to get my Caswells on feet!

Dale stellar review! The leather options look impeccable! I’ll check out some of the service boots on the site. What’s your thoughts on the sizing? I think heard you say true to size

To my eye. caswell did not do a very good job in matching the grain patterns on the vamps of the boots. One boot has a very distinct patterning, and the other is much different. It takes away from the overall aesthetic of the boots.

nice vid as always! I followed you and purchased a bunch of Grant Stones and loved it. As for sizing on this Lisbon, what was your sizing in Grant Stone Field boot in Bison compared to this?

I find the Caswell in size 9 fit the same as the Leo 8.5D and the Floyd in 8E or D

@aerosurferlv thanks! That helps. I also find Leo last to be more narrow than Floyd, so I fit Leo at 8.5E and Floyd 8E.

What’s the recommendation for wide sizing? Good review and I totally agree the styles Caswell offers are just gorgeous, but I missed anything on that part of sizing.

I would definitely recommend true to size and if you’re a very wife maybe go up another half size

Maybe an odd question, but I was wondering, do you keep the shoeboxes, especially the nice ones? That Caswell one looks so nice, and I have a pair of Grant Stones that came in a really nice box too. Perhaps it's the "hoarder" in the me, but I'm hesitant to part with it!

I went to their website, doesn't appear that they make anything bigger than a 12? Anybody know anything about that? I wear a 13 but cannot find any!

Maverick leather is a great retailer but, have you ever been able to source some CFS rambler leather?. I really like that leather but can't find it anywhere to craft something out of it and the minimum order at cfs is 1000 square feet

I heard if you contact the tannery directly you can do orders of Rambler but I don’t know if they changed their ordering policy recently

Why didn't you put them on to tell us what the fit feels like , plus that boot looks similar to the Diesel boot so telling us the difference and fit would be nice. Plus call coswell and tell him to contact good you tuber boot reviewers to advertise his boot, you can't find reviews and that never helps a small company , I want to like them but I need to see more video reviews.
