I’m sold. I’ve been eyeing Caswell for almost a year, but there was always something else on the list that trumped. But that Whiskey leather on that new last is the exact makeup I want. Thank you for putting this out.

Awesome! Glad to hear it! Do they have your size in stock? Fingers crossed... You'll really like it. Prob my fav boot of 2023 and that's saying a lot.

My Caswells in olive waxed flesh on Wayne last are solid, stylish and comfortable. They are almost 2 lbs each, so they are real boots equal in weight to Alden Indy. The Vibram treadway style sole is a winner. My boots have a surprising amount of arch support. Insole is a bit contoured.

Picked up a pair of Lisbon 2 Jamaica Kudu sample with a vibram sole. Love them. Such a comfortable last with a sleek silhouette.

​@@rockymtnstyleThe Wayne last fits my feet wonderfully! I have the Lisbon in black CXL and snuff Waxy Commander, and the Lisbon II in olive CXL. It's really hard to compare the comfort of the Wayne last to any of my other boots. It looks sleek, but gives me plenty of room. My Allen Edmonds 1757-lasted boots (Higgins Mill and Patton) are comfy, but certainly don't have as classy a shape. My Grant Stone Leo last Edward boots in loden suede are very comfortable too. Reminder to all that Caswell boots fit true to Brannock sizing - not the somewhat typical half size down of many brands (like Grant Stone).

Cool! Fairly new (2019) and still pretty small. Big plans though! Their first sneaker is coming out soon and I'm really stoked about that.

Caswell will do pop-up shops in the DC area, which is a great time to check them out for anyone that's local.

Good video pal. I like the way those look but I will wait for models with speed hooks but these remind me of the Viberg boots. Looks great! I am a big fan of GS and I can't imagine that GS is able to make their boots 100% leather and Casewell wouldn't be able to do the same. I guess that's why GS beats them out because they're made in china but that's ok.

You should pick up a pair, check them out and do a review for your channel! For me the Caswell Wayne last feels like the Grant Stone Leo last. Only Caswell are true to size vs sizing down a half size in GS. I still need to pick up a pair of Parkhurst to compare. There will be more colorways coming later this year. Message Caswell to find out more.

Sadly no. Based on the sizing guidance, I should order the 10D. But on Brannock, I’m between 10 and 10.5E and I did see a 10.5E available on the site. I believe I will be sending them an email in the near future.

i don't like paying over $300 and getting a pre scuffed boot. i realize the first day i wear them they will be scuffed. but don't send me someone else's scuffs. but i would admit for the price i might not worry about the scuffs too much. but when the price tops over $500 i better not be getting someone else's scuffed up return.

That’s the way that leather is. I came from the tanner that way and will patina differently than other leather. Caswell explicitly calls this out on the product description for this specific boot. You will not get ‘scuffed’ boots when ordering other colorways.

Yeah, what Chris said below. I agree with your overall point, though... When I shot the unboxing a month ago I didn't realize the truth, though. But I spoke to the owner and he told me how the Predator leather is, and after a few wears I can confirm that's correct. It just looks like scuffing because of where it is on the boot.

Nice looking boot, the backstay design reminds me of Viberg and Bordon. A shame it seems they've written off those with larger feet. I not only didn't see an option for a men's size 14, but 13 (US) as well? Always tough when you have to write off a brand before the video ends... 😢

Just pulled the trigger on a pair of these in the W&C Chesnut Oiled Latigo in 10.5 (apparently the last pair of 10.5… sorry). They should get here next week. I am super excited to see how these fit compared to the Lisbon.

@@rockymtnstyle I LOVE my Lisbon boots. Haven't had them long, but I find myself reaching for them more so than others in my collection. Sleek like a Thursday President with Grant Stone levels of build quality. I even don't mind the lack of speed hooks (but would prefer them.) Depending on the leather, the Lisbon can easily be dressed up and is probably best suited for smart or business casual which (because of my job) is my typical Monday thru Friday use case. It's because the Lisbon is so good, I jumped on the Shaw. Caswell seems to do smaller batch runs, so Kevin runs out pretty quick, and after watching your video, I really wanted that slightly chunkier look of the Shaw to add to my collection.

Hi great video. Question with the looks of that boot what can you compared them to in looks ? Do you on viberg boots ? Or whites semi dress ?

I didn't own Vibergs before... but I do now. I have a service boot 2030 bct in gobi regency calf. I wouldn't say they are similar to the Caswell at all, really. The Viberg is much more sleek and elegant whereas this is more utilitarian in shape. I don't have any Whites other than the Perry Moc Toe. Cheers, mate!
