Sorry PK, I have a different opinion on this one and please KZreadrs don’t come for me 😜 I believe one should keep their options open until marriage and my comment is geared towards true Christians who obey God’s word regarding sexual purity. Being with multiple people does not mean you are smooching, having sex, etc. with them. Why keep your options open? Someone might be with you and even get engaged and meet your family but might turn around and say they do not want to be with you any more or just “ghost” you or the family says no. In case, that happens, you would still have another person or people. Also, let them know you are talking to other people if they ask. Again, don’t come for me, please.

I feel if you're dating someone to the extent you're engaged, you should be committed to that person, unless you're not truly interested in that person because would it be okay if the person was also sharing the relationship with 9 other partners? You should think about that too. Keeping your options open simply means that the fact that you're dating someone or engaged to someone doesn't mean you must marry them if things go south. That doesn't mean you should now have multiple partners. The same way a pilot can't fly 2 planes at the same time because he has to be dedicated to one, otherwise there'll be a problem is the same way, you shouldn't be having multiple partners 😊
