I always found it weird whether you play as Soma or in Julius mode, that Abaddon comes after Death. You’d think Death would be the final triumph card or the last wall of defense or something like that

Is this your only Castlevania game? *In most games, Death isn't the second to last Boss* , it is (in best case scenario) the Third to last boss like here. In Aria of Sorrow, Death isn't even the third to last boss LOL.

There are also cutscenes, but there are only six: 1. Julius meets up with Yoko in her shop 2. Julius meets up with Alucard 3. Cutscene before you fight Soma if you used Alucard when you entered the portal in the abyss leading to him 4. cutscene before final boss battle if you used Julius to enter the portal 5. Cutscene before final boss battle if you used Yoko when you entered the portal 6. A short cutscene of Yoko, Julius and Arikardo watch the castle crumble after killing Soma

Love the nutshot finish at 4:55. This is definitely my favorite iteration of Dracula in this series. It's a shame Konami went all Psycho & broke up the original team.

Zephyr is basically Dio brando. By the way, for me, the dark Soma end is the true end.

This is super late, but man with Death you were so lucky. I always got him spamming his Summon Skulls which hit for so goddamn hard.

There's a lore-related reason in Balore's case. His left eye fires lasers uncontrollably, which presumably hurts him and so he needs to use it sparingly.

The AOS Julius mode wasn't so good because Soma (Dracula) was not the final boss. In this game, you fight Soma instead of the normal final boss.
