Now this... is a final boss theme. After fighting through hell and nightmares, the symbol of evil stands before you, towering and imposing... this theme is the symbol of overcoming fate, becoming a savior to those around you out of nothing. Trumpets, powerful rhythm and powerful melody makes this one of my favorite Castlevania boss themes of all time. I chose to make a stand in a hostile world. My talents might be lacking and my position low, my generation might despise me, but I stand my ground regardless, for the people who have been abandoned and left to be crushed by the reality. I am myself and nobody else, living by my own values and beliefs instead of falling back to the shadows.

Dude, this is an extremely underrated Castlevania game. It was more Castlevania than a lot of Castlevania games after it. Got the aesthetic, good dialogue/world immersion, enemy designs, and fun down. Music might not have been so hot as others. Level design might not have been so hot. Graphics might not have been so hot. But it was actually more satisfying to play than Harmony of Dissonance even tho that game looked way better. That game was too derivative of Symphony with not a single other good aspect of the game, and even had the absolute worst Castlevania music ever, but at least it didn't import all its sprites from every other game and didn't make its original enemies cleaning cat ladies.

I don't know if I've ever agreed with an internet comment so much. Fuck Konami.

This was one of the hardest final battles of the whole Castlevania franchise, unfortunately this game is very underrated, but it's a classic!!

I have to wonder why Konami never noticed or cared for this track to be reprised. They always reprise Dance of Illusions but not this, or even the gameboy classics.

Dracula really stole Griffith's Crimson Behelit and started the Eclipse.

This is the best Final Dracula theme and it’s not even close. This is also probably the best Final Dracula fight in the series.

Ok, I heard a symphonic remake, and I see why you think it's good. Someone who has taken any classes for music would probably say this is good because they recognize that there's a dynamic melody like in classical, but if you think this is good, then I'd rather point to the boss music for dracula in the game 'order of ecclesia' ANYWAY, YOU'RE A BOT and you don't understand classical composition

A funny fact is that the Devil himself was inside Dracula's castle as a semi-boss. Anyone who really doesn't know Dracula's power would completely ignore this fact. In my opinion, this transformation of Dracula is the perfection of the dark, despair, fear, power, doom.

This has to be the strongest version of Dracula.

@@timmyjimmy7413 He is insanely hard, spamming enormously powerful attacks taking most of the screen and needing good reflexes to avoid. While only being vulnerable on a small spot only accessible after he teleports, leaving you very little room to move and react. In fact, he is by far one of the hardest final bosses of the series, next to Belmont's Revenge and Haunted Castle.

@@KorenRedLotus And if you really think about it, they mentioned he wasn't even fully revived yet. He was trying to perform a ritual to regain all of his power, so the fact he's like this AT HALF STRENGTH means this version of Dracula might have been one of the most powerful.

@@KorenRedLotus I never forget about his meteor attacks they fall sideways and they come down quick and they're random too they do take a lot of damage just like his other attacks and when I thought I finished him off because his body was in flame he respond on the other side of the screen he came at you with full speed while the back of his body was inflamed. I was furious on that because he was freaking hard. And when you finish him off in that state, surprise, surprise, he reappears as an eyeball with giant bats as his barrier. Of all the final forms of his that I fought in the series this final form was the hardest.

Circle of the moon is my favorite Castlevania so far. It's made by the KCEK studio (as well as the N64 castlevania games) and I am very sad it was not cannon in the official chronology. This game brought me back to love the franchise back in the day.

I say that just means they have another timeline to make games for if they ever get themselves past the Lords of Shadow universe

this one is my favorite CastleVania I like in symphony of the night the spells are available from the start but that also makes it too easy aria of sorrow was amazing but after playing through it so many times I got bored it grew too easy harmony of dissonance was a pain the castle was quite good and the gameplay was cool too but the music and the art style was a great turnoff but this this is amazing the music is amazing the art style is great the bosses are quite challenging you might use everything you have and still no guarantee of winning

The theme is supreme, is elegant, is sad, strong, make a call to the brave in a hopeless battle, also, developed in a 8 bit equalizer (or 16 bit? I don't know really haha), I love this song

My Favorite ost from the whole castlevania series...

Id love to here this in castlevania nocturne as Richter faces the vampire messiah

God I love this boss. I remember my first time when I was low lvl and with rudimentary magic and I was like "NO NOT THE METEOR SHOWER BLBLBLBL" during more than 30 minutes. Good times.

He is definitely more powerful than most of the belmonts. I mean he fought casually with legions, fallen angels, beat adremalech (president of hell) and the hunter whip has more versatility due to its alchemical properties (the DDS system). I wonder how he would fare against Julius or Richter.

He’s not non-canon though. The last official update we got on the timeline was back in 2006 when the Portrait of Ruin pre-order came with an official timeline poster. On that timeline, they included Circle of the Moon and the 64 games. Plus, there’s no real reason why CotM and the 64 can’t be canon anyway, there’s nothing in the games that contradict or interfere with anything in the universe.

El problema q Konami no lo toma en cuenta por q esta fuera del canon de la saga por igarashi no participó y este antes de irse de Konami lo saco del canon, el juego para mi de los mejores de castlevania muuuy infravalorado y su música hermosa con reimaginaciones de clásicas como sinking old sanctuary.. Entre otras ojalá y hagan un remake

What made him so difficult is that by half health, he started doing that demon bumrush that you practically had to hug the ceiling to dodge, and then you had about 5 seconds to dish out any damage. This was one of my first gba games, and certainly one of the most memorable ones.

I aspire to be able to draw something like this. It's some of the most brilliant Castlevania art I've ever seen. And rightfully so it should be placed with an extended version of one of the best final boss themes ever in a Castlevania game. Circle of the Moon was so rad and not only was one of the best launch titles for GBA...but one of the best launch titles of ANY system PERIOD!

I actually like this and I play this everywhere I go and do. It’s like a battle inside of me between divinity and hell.

I just wanna say that this tune is probably the closets thing to Dark Souls from Castlevania. This could probably be in Bloodborne if orchestrated.
