Aria of Sorrow is my favorite Castlevania game, love to see it

Aria of Sorrow is my favorite. Maybe below Dawn. Havent played a Castlevania in a while(read years), so might feel different today.

I completely agree with your opinion on Rondo of Blood being absurdly good compared to the other ClassicVanias

Aria has the soul eater ring which is double chances for souls if I remember correctly (?) Which just means if a soul is a 1\20, it becomes a 1\10. It's good for some souls that are incredibly bad to get like the skyfish, but it's situational

(some souls naturally have very high drop chances but the enemy is annoying to fight, so stat boosts are a better choice over all)

(also The SER does not stack with other luck increases, bc the luck stat is broken in Aria, as is in most other castlevanias)

Aria of Sorrow to me is tied with SOTN as the best game in the series and one of the best games of all times. The design, progression, and mechanics are way too good.

Is this run an buildup to a reverse-order speedrun for Aria of Sorrow? Dunno how accurate the statement is, but I once overheard how "unfortunate that SOTN can mean 'smol PP' in Japanese."

indeed, OTN = otintin/ochinchin(pp), and the S could mean "small", making "small pp"
