This casting is 11” inches long 10” inches wide 28”inches tall broken 43” inches tall before it broke and weighs 6lbs.
The second biggest colony of pyramid ants/dorymyrmex insanus I’ve found so far.
In my other video #15 the same species in another location stayed with cylindrical tunnels all the way down but this colony decided to sculpt tunnels flat, wide and straight down in one singular tunnel.
